Dimensions of Mobile Toilets

Admin October 08, 2026

The dimensions of mobile toilets vary depending on their type and design, with common size ranges as follows:

Single Toilet Compartment: The length typically ranges from 1 meter to 1.5 meters, with a width of over 85 centimeters to 1.2 meters. The common overall dimensions are 2 meters in length, 1.2 meters in width, and 2 meters in height, covering an area of approximately 5 to 10 square meters. These dimensions are suitable for basic mobile toilets, meeting the needs of single users while considering space utilization and transportation convenience.

Single-Person Mobile Toilets: The standard model usually measures 110 centimeters in length, 110 centimeters in width, and 230 centimeters in height, suitable for single users in ordinary scenarios. The compact mini single-person model measures 100 centimeters in length, 100 centimeters in width, and 220 centimeters in height, ideal for scenarios with limited space or high temporary demand, such as small events or temporary construction sites.

Double-Person Mobile Toilets: These typically measure 180 centimeters in length, 110 centimeters in width, and 230 centimeters in height. By increasing the length and width, they can accommodate two users simultaneously, making them suitable for areas with high foot traffic, such as tourist attractions and shopping malls, effectively alleviating queue pressure.

Barrier-Free Mobile Toilets: To cater to the needs of special populations, the clear dimensions within the overall structure should be at least 1.8 meters by 1.5 meters, with a door width of over 80 centimeters. The common overall dimensions are 180 centimeters in length, 150 centimeters in width, and 240 centimeters in height. Such designs must meet the requirements for wheelchair turning space and auxiliary equipment operation, ensuring convenience and safety in use.

Container Mobile Toilets: Based on standard container modifications, these measure 6.5 meters in length, 3.5 meters in width, and 3.1 meters in height, classifying them as large mobile toilets. Their advantage lies in their spaciousness, allowing for the integration of multiple toilet compartments, sinks, and even management rooms. They are suitable for long-term fixed use or large-scale event scenarios, such as music festivals and sports events.

The dimension design of different types of mobile toilets must comprehensively consider factors such as usage scenarios, foot traffic, transportation conditions, and special needs to ensure a balance between functionality and practicality.
