Price of Concrete Prefabricated Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

The price of concrete prefabricated houses varies significantly due to multiple factors. In rural areas of Henan, the price per square meter generally ranges from 220 yuan to over 1000 yuan, depending on the configuration and specific requirements.

Basic Price Range

There is a certain price range for the basic cost of prefabricated houses in rural Henan. During the factory production and quality inspection phase, the price per square meter is approximately 220 to 250 yuan. When the house components are transported to the construction site and installed on the framework, an additional 50 yuan per square meter is required. If choosing a full-package option for ordinary residential houses, the price per square meter is slightly over 300 yuan. Some sources indicate that the cost per square meter for prefabricated houses in rural Henan is around 300 yuan, although this price may have some ambiguity.

Price Differences Due to Different Decoration Levels

The 300 yuan per square meter often quoted by many merchants usually refers to the price for a bare shell. If projects such as water and electricity installation are added, the actual price will increase significantly. Typically, when water and electricity decoration are fully included, the price per square meter can reach 800 to 1000 yuan. This is because water and electricity decoration involves multiple complex processes, such as pipeline laying and wiring installation, which require professional construction personnel. Both material and labor costs are relatively high.

Price Changes Due to Advanced Configurations and Special Circumstances

If advanced configurations such as photovoltaic power generation systems are added to the prefabricated house, an additional 50 to 100 yuan per square meter is required. The installation of a photovoltaic power generation system requires professional equipment and technology, including the procurement and installation of solar panels, inverters, and related electrical connections and commissioning work, all of which increase the construction cost of the house. Additionally, for non-pilot areas, the transportation cost alone can raise the price per square meter to 400 yuan. This is because non-pilot areas may be farther from the manufacturing plant, and the increased transportation distance leads to a significant rise in transportation costs, which is then reflected in the final price of the house.
