Chongqing Mobile Toilet Floor Tile Cleaning

Admin September 28, 2026

The floor tiles of mobile toilets in Chongqing need to be cleaned every day, using cleaning agents and disinfectants to clean the ground, with special attention to cleaning corners and crevices.

Cleaning Frequency and Necessity
Mobile toilets in Chongqing are prone to accumulating dirt, bacteria, and odors on the floor tiles due to high usage frequency and heavy foot traffic. Daily cleaning is required to maintain a hygienic environment. If cleaning is not carried out promptly, stains may seep into the gaps between the floor tiles, forming stubborn dirt, increasing the difficulty of subsequent cleaning, and even breeding mosquitoes and spreading diseases.

Selection of Cleaning Tools and Materials

  • Cleaning agents: Choose neutral or weakly alkaline cleaning agents to avoid corrosion of the floor tile surface by strong acids and alkalis. For example, special floor tile cleaning agents containing surfactants can effectively remove organic substances such as oil stains and urine stains.
  • Disinfectants: It is recommended to use chlorine-containing disinfectants (such as 84 disinfectant), diluted at a ratio of 1:100 for use. They can kill common pathogens such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus without causing damage to the floor tiles.
  • Auxiliary tools: Stiff-bristled brushes (for cleaning crevices), mops (with strong water absorption), cloths (non-woven fabric is better), buckets, and rubber gloves (to protect hands).

Cleaning Steps and Key Points of Operation

  1. Pre-treatment: Use a broom or dry cloth to remove large particles of garbage (such as paper scraps and cigarette butts) from the surface of the floor tiles to avoid scratching them.
  2. Dilute the cleaning agent: Add the cleaning agent to water according to the instructions on the package, stir well, and then pour it into the bucket.
  3. Initial cleaning: Dip the mop into the cleaning agent solution and mop from the entrance of the toilet inward in a one-way manner to avoid repeated contamination. Focus on wiping high-frequency contact areas such as around the toilet bowls and under the washbasins.
  4. Crevice cleaning: Dip the stiff-bristled brush into the cleaning agent and scrub the gaps between the floor tiles vertically to ensure that the dirt is completely removed. For stubborn stains, locally spray the cleaning agent and let it sit for 3-5 minutes before scrubbing.
  5. Disinfection treatment: Evenly spray or mop the diluted disinfectant onto the surface of the floor tiles, covering all areas, including corners and crevices. The disinfection action time should be ≥10 minutes to ensure the bactericidal effect.
  6. Rinse with clean water: Use a clean water mop to mop the floor tiles 2-3 times repeatedly to completely remove the residues of the cleaning agent and disinfectant and prevent the risk of slipping.
  7. Drying treatment: Use a dry cloth or a water absorber to quickly absorb the water on the ground and keep the floor tiles dry to reduce the environment for bacterial growth.

Precautions

  • When cleaning, wear rubber gloves and a mask to avoid skin contact with the cleaning agent or inhalation of the volatile gases of the disinfectant.
  • Cleaning agents and disinfectants should be stored separately to avoid the generation of toxic gases (such as chlorine gas) due to mixed use.
  • After cleaning, check whether the floor tiles are damaged or loose and repair them in a timely manner to prevent sewage leakage.
