Uganda Crude Oil Pipeline Camp

The project has a total floor area of about 31,500 m² and is equipped with 324 container houses, addressing needs of large scale, complete supporting facilities, multiple camps, and a long project cycle.

It covers 6 camps along the route and required delivery in 14 batches, plus stringent PVOC inspection standards—placing very high demands on material stocking, logistics, and on-site coordination. Facing these challenges, Chengdong drew on its mature supply-chain system and project-management experience to prepare a detailed shipping plan, with strict control from production scheduling and quality inspection through customs clearance and transport, ensuring each batch of container houses was delivered on time and kept pace with construction.

The Uganda pipeline route is long, with diverse and complex climate conditions; some camps sit on plateaus with large day–night temperature swings and notable air-pressure changes. To suit this environment, Chengdong refined the product design: insulating glass in the container houses received professional venting treatment for plateau climates, balancing internal and external air pressure, preventing fogging and cracking caused by environmental differences, and safeguarding living comfort and building durability.
