Dormitory approach: The client initially chose container houses with tiled bathrooms, but the two construction methods did not connect well and created many site difficulties that would affect later use. We recommended container houses plus prefabricated bathrooms, which better met the client's needs, greatly shortened construction time, and reduced delays caused by cold weather.

Cold protection and insulation: Because the site is very cold, the original external exposed piping was changed to indoor concealed pipe shafts, integrating the building more fully and preventing freeze damage. Wider sealing strips were also designed between floors to reduce air leakage from the container structure and further improve thermal performance.

Heightened and lengthened office building: Drainage pipes for the third-floor bathrooms had to run through the second-floor ceiling. To control cost, a color-steel ceiling was used with a hanger-rod and guide-rail ceiling structure.
