For Abu Dhabi's subtropical desert climate (high heat, high humidity, sandstorms, intense sunlight, and little rainfall), Chengdong container houses center on “passive insulation + active temperature control + sand and corrosion protection,” with a customized “Desert Box” solution that can reduce the indoor–outdoor temperature difference by 15°C and resist Force 11 winds.

Trapezoidal drainage ditches filled with gravel must be installed around all foundations so short cloudbursts in the rainy season can drain quickly and the sand layer does not soften; high wind barriers are also placed at the site perimeter to reduce sandstorm impact on the foundations.

Products for this project include both container houses and prefab houses, fully meeting the diverse needs of camp construction.
