Abidjan Port Expansion Camp, Côte d'Ivoire

The main site is in the Yopougon District of Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, covering about 27 hectares. Principal buildings include 28 office and dormitory buildings, plus supporting living and sports and cultural facilities;

All office and living buildings in the camp were supplied and installation-supervised by Chengdong. Of these, 4 office-area buildings, 28 dormitory-area buildings and supporting facilities are Type A light-steel prefab panel houses, and 7 buildings in the guest area are light-steel prefabricated villas;

The camp is equipped with 2 standard outdoor basketball courts, 1 tennis court, 1 swimming pool, and 1 football field; high-spec indoor facilities include 2 badminton courts, 3 gyms, 3 table tennis rooms, and 4 billiard rooms, meeting after-hours use by camp personnel;

A cold-formed thin-walled light-steel structural system is used. The overall structure is stable and reliable, with a specially designed wind resistance of force 10;

Traditional self-tapping screw connections were replaced by Chengdong’s independently developed patented structural waterproofing design, eliminating at the source the leak risk caused by repeated roof disassembly and reassembly. Waterproofing is stable and reliable and does not require frequent maintenance.
