The microbial strains in the device can decompose feces and impurities in the wastewater, and the treated water is then discharged after meeting standards through electrochemical treatment. This process is basically automated, eliminating the need for frequent manual cleaning of the toilet, reducing labor costs and environmental pollution. At the same time, it also avoids the odor and sanitation problems caused by the delayed cleaning of traditional toilets, improving the quality of life for residents.
Wastewater reuse: The toilet without a sewer network also has the function of wastewater reuse. By adding a simple filtration and storage device, the treated water that meets standards is recycled. This reclaimed water can be used for toilet flushing, vegetable watering, etc., which not only reduces the consumption of tap water and lowers the living water costs for residents but also reduces wastewater discharge, which is of great significance for protecting water resources and improving the environment. In the pilot project in Qingshui Village, this wastewater reuse function has been effectively applied, providing a beneficial exploration for sustainable development in rural areas.
