Yantai Prefabricated Slab House Reinforcement

Admin September 18, 2026

Reinforcement of prefabricated slab houses in Yantai can be carried out using methods such as crack grouting, carbon fiber cloth reinforcement, steel plate bonding reinforcement, steel bar planting reinforcement, foundation reinforcement, and comprehensive reinforcement plans, and must be designed and constructed by professional companies.

Crack Grouting Reinforcement Method: For early shrinkage cracks or continuously developing cracks in prefabricated slab houses due to environmental influences, crack grouting reinforcement can be employed. By injecting cementitious materials such as epoxy resin under high pressure, cracks are filled and the structural integrity is restored, making it particularly suitable for repairing cracks in concrete floors. This method effectively prevents crack propagation and enhances structural durability.

Carbon Fiber Cloth Reinforcement: Utilizing the high strength (tensile strength exceeding 3500 MPa) and lightweight properties of carbon fiber cloth, it can be bonded to the underside of floors or the sides of beams with epoxy resin, significantly improving structural load-bearing capacity. This method is convenient for construction, highly corrosion-resistant, and causes minimal damage to the original structure, making it widely used for flexural reinforcement of prefabricated slab houses.

Steel Plate Bonding Reinforcement: By bonding steel plates to key structural components such as beams and columns, a composite load-bearing system is formed with structural adhesive, effectively enhancing the shear and flexural capacities of the members. This method is suitable for the renovation of prefabricated slab houses with insufficient load-bearing capacity, and attention should be paid to rust prevention treatment and anchoring measures for the steel plates.

Steel Bar Planting Reinforcement: When the connection strength of prefabricated slabs is insufficient or steel bars are fractured, steel bar planting technology can be adopted. By drilling holes, cleaning them, injecting planting adhesive, and inserting steel bars, new structural connection points are formed. This method requires a certain strength of the base material (usually not less than C15), and pull-out tests should be conducted after construction to verify the anchoring effect.

Foundation Reinforcement: If house tilting or foundation settlement leads to wall cracks, priority should be given to addressing foundation issues. Techniques such as grouting reinforcement, root piles, or static pressure piles can be employed to enhance foundation bearing capacity and control settlement. After foundation treatment, house deformation should be monitored to ensure foundation stability.

Comprehensive Reinforcement Plan: The reinforcement of old prefabricated slab houses requires a comprehensive assessment of structural damage, load-bearing capacity, and usage requirements, and a comprehensive plan should be formulated by combining multiple methods. For example, for floors with severe cracks, grouting repair + carbon fiber cloth reinforcement can be used; for weakly connected parts, steel bar planting + steel plate bonding reinforcement can be implemented, while addressing foundation issues to form multiple lines of defense.

Professional Design and Construction: Reinforcement projects involve structural safety and must be undertaken by companies with special professional qualifications (such as structural strengthening qualifications). From house inspection and reinforcement design to material selection and construction techniques, all must comply with standards such as the "Code for Design of Concrete Structure Reinforcement" (GB50367) to ensure reliable reinforcement effects.
