Yangzhou Marathon Portable Toilets
Yangzhou Marathon has taken comprehensive and meticulous measures in the allocation of portable toilets to meet the toilet needs of a large number of participants and spectators during the event.

I. Rational Allocation of a Large Number of Portable Toilets Based on the scale and requirements of the event, Yangzhou Marathon has rationally planned and allocated a large number of portable toilets along the racecourse. Taking the 2025 "Yangzhou Marathon" as an example, a total of 820 portable restrooms have been set up at the start/finish points and along the route, representing a 53% increase from last year. The ratio of toilet stalls has been improved to 36.5:1, far exceeding the organizational standards set by the Chinese Athletics Association for road running events. This allocation not only covers the core areas of the event but also extends along the racecourse, ensuring that participants and spectators can easily find toilets during the race.
II. Customized Services Provided by Professional Service Providers The rental services for portable toilets at Yangzhou Marathon are provided by professional service providers, such as Liwei 365, which serves as the designated provider for the Jianzhen Marathon. These providers offer various types of portable public toilets based on the scale and requirements of the event. These portable public toilets are made of eco-friendly materials, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene. The equipment is regularly maintained to ensure optimal sanitary conditions. Additionally, the service providers offer customized services to meet the sanitary needs of different scenarios, such as setting up dedicated toilets for the disabled.
III. Multi-Department Collaboration to Ensure Toilet Needs In addition to the allocation of portable toilets, the urban management departments at both the city and district levels have prepared 14 public toilets directly managed by the sanitation department around the racecourse and encouraged some units along the street to open their toilets to the public, further expanding the toilet resources. Meanwhile, unified signs have been specially made to guide participants and spectators in finding toilets, and a "one-person-one-toilet" patrol cleaning system has been implemented to ensure the cleanliness of the toilets.
IV. Adherence to Scientific Allocation Standards It is recommended that马拉松赛事(此处应改为英文表述,即 road running events) allocate one toilet stall for every 150-200 people. Considering the number of participants, the gender ratio, and the needs of special groups in the Yangzhou Marathon, the actual allocation often requires more than 200 toilet stalls. In addition, dedicated toilets for the disabled have been set up at the starting area to meet accessibility requirements.
