Achievements and Goals of Rural Toilet Renovation

Xiangtan City has actively responded to the national call for the "Toilet Revolution", with multiple departments working together to achieve remarkable results in rural toilet renovation. The number of rural sanitary toilets in the city has reached 497,028, with a sanitary toilet coverage rate of over 95%. The government has financially supported the construction of 103,844 new household toilets and 2,602 new public toilets. The tasks of constructing 2,567 household toilets and 17 public toilets in 2024 have been successfully completed and are now in the acceptance phase. Meanwhile, the implementation goals for the rural toilet revolution in 2025 have been clarified, aiming to complete the high-quality construction or renovation of 800 rural household toilets and 6 public toilets by the end of 2025.
