Wuhan Outdoor Mobile Toilet Design

Admin October 10, 2026

The design of outdoor mobile toilets in Wuhan needs to take into account the climate, terrain, and usage scenarios, with core aspects covering materials, sewage disposal, structure, ventilation, rust prevention, customization, and environmental protection.

Material and heat conduction control is crucial for coping with Wuhan's climate. The high-temperature summers and cold, damp winters require the toilet body to adopt a double-layer sandwich panel structure, filled with polyurethane or rock wool in the middle, using the air in the sandwich layer for thermal insulation to slow down heat transfer. Polyurethane has a closed-cell rate of over 95%, which reduces condensation water generation and prevents metal rusting; the surface coating needs to have UV resistance to avoid aging of the panels due to intense sunlight.

Sewage system design needs to solve the problem of no fixed pipeline for discharge. The vacuum negative pressure system creates negative pressure through an air pump, requiring only 0.5 liters of water per flush, with a water-saving rate of over 90%; the microbial degradation technology decomposes excrement through bacteria, ultimately converting it into carbon dioxide and water, suitable for sites without a water source. Given the high groundwater level in Wuhan, the storage tank needs to be equipped with a counterweight base to prevent floating and ensure stability.

Stress dispersion design for structural components can enhance durability. Trapezoidal reinforcing ribs are used at the frame's stress points to disperse concentrated stress to the surrounding panels, reducing the risk of weld cracking. For example, the chassis is made of 3mm thick checkered steel plate with 15-degree inclined pressure relief holes reserved at the four corners; the top lifting rings are embedded in an I-beam frame to avoid tearing the steel plate during lifting.

Ventilation and humidity control need to combine forced convection with natural exhaust. An axial fan is installed at the top, and louvered windows are opened at the bottom, forming an 'inlet at the bottom, outlet at the top' airflow channel. The fan is triggered by a humidity sensor and automatically turns on when the internal humidity exceeds 70%RH to prevent mold growth during the plum rain season; the exhaust pipes are made of UPVC material with a smooth inner wall to reduce water vapor condensation.

Rust prevention treatment is an important step to extend the service life. The steel structure adopts a double-layer protection of hot-dip galvanizing + epoxy sealing paint, with the hot-dip galvanizing layer thickness reaching over 85 microns, protecting the base material through electrochemical reactions; the outer epoxy paint isolates acidic moisture. Key welds are additionally brushed with aluminum-powder-containing zinc-rich paint to resist acid rain corrosion.

Customized services can meet diverse needs. Local enterprises in Wuhan, such as Jintongchuang Technology, provide full-process services, supporting the integration of IoT technology, lightweight materials, and intelligent control systems, suitable for scenarios such as urban management and commercial activities. Other enterprises adopt container modular design, balancing aesthetics and durability.

Environmental protection and sustainability design incorporates green concepts. Some toilets use antibacterial panels and solar power systems, promoting a circular economy model and contributing to the 'carbon neutrality' goal.
