Wuda Mobile Toilet Installation Method
Admin October 01, 2026
The installation of mobile toilets in Wuda can refer to the following general steps, which need to be flexibly adjusted according to on-site conditions:

I. Planning and Preparation Before Installation
Site Assessment and Location Selection
- Survey the overall layout and select a location on the edge of an area with heavy pedestrian traffic or near a passageway, avoiding the upwind side of activity areas to reduce odor impact.
- Ensure the ground is flat and solid. If the ground is soft (such as mud or sand), lay pads or wooden planks in advance to distribute the load.
- Be close to water supply points and sewage discharge interfaces, or plan a route for water trucks to ensure convenient subsequent connections.
Determine Requirements and Specifications
- Calculate the required number and type of toilets based on the number of users, the duration of the event, and the male-to-female ratio.
- Weigh the pros and cons of single-unit toilets (flexible but with limited service capacity) and large-scale units (fully functional but requiring more space) and choose a model suitable for the scenario.
Material and Personnel Preparation
- Prepare pads, drinking-water-grade hoses, sewage pipes, tools (wrenches, spirit levels, etc.), cleaning and disinfection supplies, and consumables.
- Arrange installation personnel with knowledge of water and electricity connections and safety operation specifications to ensure construction standards.
II. On-site Installation Steps
Site Leveling and Positioning
- Clear debris from the site and use measuring tools to determine the position of the toilet units, reserving queuing space (it is recommended to reserve 1-1.5 meters around each unit).
- If the ground is uneven, level it with pads or adjustable feet to prevent the toilet from tilting.
Unit Placement and Stabilization
- Use a forklift or trailer to move the toilet units to the designated positions and place them gently to avoid damage.
- Use a spirit level to check the levelness and make fine adjustments with adjustable feet or wedges to ensure stability without shaking.
System Connections
- Water Supply Connection: Connect one end of the hose to a reliable water source (such as municipal water supply or a water tank) and the other end to the toilet water inlet. Check if the water pressure meets the standard (usually ≥0.2MPa) and empty the air in the pipe to prevent air resistance.
- Sewage Discharge Connection: If it is a direct-discharge type, ensure that the sewage pipe is unobstructed and has a reasonable slope (it is recommended that the slope be ≥2%); if it is a fecal-storage type, reserve a cleaning port and seal it.
III. Detail Handling and Finalization
- Clean the inside and outside of the toilets and check if all bolts and nuts are tightened to prevent safety hazards caused by loosening.
- Test whether the water supply and sewage discharge systems are normal and check if functions such as flushing and lighting are intact.
- For daily maintenance, regularly clean and disinfect, check the tightness of the pipelines, and clean the fecal storage tank (if applicable) to extend the service life.
Precautions:
- Before installation, check if the sewage pipe is blocked and if the ground is level to avoid rework later.
- If toilet bowl installation is involved, determine the center line of the sewage pipe, pre-embed expansion screws, and properly seal the bottom (such as installing a sealing ring or applying glass glue) to prevent leakage.
