Why Use Our Company's Container Houses?
It is undeniable that container houses are drawing more and more attention. They are not only a great invention for the transport industry with a huge impact on freight, but have also become living quarters for migrant workers. Because they are highly mobile, convenient, and affordable, they have become the first choice for workers away from home. Container houses are also an important form of temporary housing after disasters—a relatively suitable option for post-disaster needs.
Our company sums up these reasons:
Ready-made modular container units provide the simplest, most reliable, and mass-producible structural building blocks for temporary construction.
Containers can be reused as much as possible. Once urban reconstruction is finished and residents of temporary buildings return home, containers can go back to the docks for freight. In other words, there is essentially no waste of resources, and there is no need to cover the cost of recovering and disposing of leftover materials after temporary buildings are abandoned. Aside from installation and transport costs for the containers, the structural cost of the temporary building itself is almost zero.
Container sizes and specs are standardized. Produced to international industrial transport standards, with lifting fittings at all four corners, any lifting equipment and methods available internationally can be used when building post-disaster temporary housing—without drafting new rules or technical support again, which saves R&D in the construction process.
Compared with tents or temporary buildings made of other organic materials, containers are easier to clean and disinfect (surfaces can be washed directly with a high-pressure hose). That also helps keep the risk of plague or epidemic outbreaks in post-disaster resettlement areas at a lower level.
