Wearable Mobile Toilet

Admin October 17, 2026

There are mainly two design types of wearable mobile toilets:

The first is the minimLET portable toilet designed by the Japanese company nendo. It is not strictly a toilet that can be directly worn on the body, but its overall design offers a high degree of portability and practicality. The toilet features a C-shaped cushion with a small hole for inserting an aluminum tube. After inserting the aluminum tube, an opened umbrella is fixed to the tube to form a simple support structure. Finally, a tent is placed over it, providing necessary privacy for the user. This design cleverly utilizes common items such as umbrellas and tents, combined with specialized cushions and aluminum tubes, to create a relatively complete temporary toilet system. Its advantages lie in the ease of obtaining and replacing individual components, as well as its lightweight and portability, making it suitable for outdoor activities, emergency rescue, and other scenarios. However, due to the need for a certain assembly process, users may need to spend some time getting familiar with and mastering the assembly method.

The second is a raincoat-like portable toilet invented by a foreign company. This toilet features an opaque design, primarily serving as a shield to protect the user's privacy. It is compact and can be folded into a bag for easy carrying. When in use, it is simply unfolded and worn on the body, with a loose design that allows the user to relieve themselves comfortably. After use, the urine turns into colorless and odorless crystals, which can be placed in a special container and then thrown into the trash, offering a relatively eco-friendly and convenient disposal method. Additionally, this portable toilet also takes into account the need for defecation, with a dedicated container that can be tied around the waist to meet different usage requirements. This design is more in line with the concept of being "wearable" and is relatively more straightforward and convenient to use, especially suitable for occasions with high hygiene requirements and limited space, such as large-scale event venues and wilderness explorations.
