Vehicles Claimed as Mobile Toilets
Vehicles claimed as mobile toilets mainly include two categories: passenger vehicles with emergency toilet functions and dedicated mobile toilet vehicles.

Passenger Vehicles with Emergency Toilet Functions: Some automotive companies have innovatively redesigned vehicle interiors to serve as temporary toilet facilities. For example, Seres has obtained a patent for a "vehicle-mounted toilet" featuring a sliding-rail toilet design that is normally concealed beneath the seat and can be pulled out for emergency use. This design primarily targets scenarios such as highway traffic jams and remote road sections, addressing the urgent need for restroom facilities without occupying additional space. Jishishi Automobile has transformed the central armrest box of its seven-seater model into an emergency toilet, equipped with a foldable toilet seat, disposable plastic bags, and deodorizing gel, meeting hygiene requirements and facilitating easy cleaning, particularly suitable for families with children and long-distance self-drive enthusiasts. These designs are based on passenger vehicles and achieve emergency functionality through modular modifications, offering flexibility and convenience.
Dedicated Mobile Toilet Vehicles: These vehicles fall under the category of sanitation vehicles and are based on van models, produced by brands such as Dongfeng, Chengli, Jiangte, and Sinotruk. Their core function is to provide mobile public sanitation facilities, typically equipped with a complete sewage system, water tanks, and disinfection devices, meeting the toilet needs of large events, construction sites, or temporary areas. Unlike passenger vehicle modifications, mobile toilet vehicles are independently designed equipment with larger spaces and more comprehensive functions, but they require specialized vehicle chassis and offer relatively lower flexibility.
The core differences between the two types of mobile toilet vehicles lie in their application scenarios: passenger vehicle modifications focus on the emergency needs of individuals or families, emphasizing concealment and convenience; mobile toilet vehicles serve the public sector, prioritizing capacity and hygiene standards. Users can choose based on actual needs, such as opting for passenger vehicle modifications for long-distance self-driving trips and dedicated mobile toilet vehicles for large events or construction sites.
