Two-Story Container House Installation
The installation of a two-story container house requires comprehensive consideration of factors such as structural type, installation process, ground treatment, and efficiency optimization. The specific key points are as follows:

1. Structural Type Selection
Container house structures are mainly divided into welded integral boxes and bolt-connected assembled boxes. The welded box is formed by integral welding in the factory, with a direct load path and strong resistance to deformation, making it suitable for scenarios requiring frequent lifting and movement, such as engineering camps and field operations. Its steel wall thickness is usually between 1.5 mm and 3 mm. The thicker the wall, the greater the load-bearing redundancy, but the corresponding increase in self-weight. The bolt-connected assembled box uses standard plates connected by bolts, with multiple connection nodes in the load path. It is necessary to ensure the tightness of each node; otherwise, it will affect the overall stability. For a two-story container house, the welded structure has more advantages in long-term use and resistance to deformation.
2. Key Points of the Installation Process
Taking the packing-box unit as an example, its installation process is representative. First, install the bottom frame. Connect the bottom corners of the box to the bottom beams on a flat ground, using hexagon socket bolts for connection but not tightening them temporarily. After adjusting to ensure that the diagonal difference of the bottom frame is ≤ 3 mm, tighten the bolts. Then install and fix the π-shaped secondary beams, lay the floor base plates along the 6-meter direction, and cut the corners of the base plates at both ends according to the chalk line. After marking the centerline of the π-shaped beams, lay the floor, with the floor joints coinciding with the centerline of the π-shaped beams, and fix them with nails according to the marks. Finally, grind the entire floor, apply PVC special floor adhesive, lay the floor covering and expel the air. If possible, weld the joints of the floor covering. For a two-story container house, after the installation of the first floor is completed, the lifting and assembly of the second floor should be carried out to ensure a firm connection.
3. Ground Treatment Requirements
Ground treatment is the starting point of installation and needs to provide a uniform load-bearing foundation for the container house. The bottom beams of container houses are usually I-beams or channel steels, with limited contact area with the ground. If placed directly on soft soil, local pressure will cause uneven settlement of the box, leading to deformation of doors and windows and cracks in the walls. Therefore, before installation, the ground should be leveled and hardened to ensure that the ground bearing capacity meets the requirements.
4. Installation Efficiency Optimization
The installation efficiency of container houses varies greatly among different brands and types. The quick-assembly box of Suzhou Zhongnan can be installed in just 2 hours for a single set, supports on-demand assembly, and can complete the construction of 10 standard dormitories in 1 day; the standard container house of CIMC takes 3 hours for a single set installation, and the layout adjustment is limited; while some unbranded products may take more than 8 hours for a single set installation due to non-standard installation processes. For a two-story container house, choosing products with high installation efficiency can significantly shorten the construction period and reduce project costs.
