Admin September 24, 2026

A travel portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and set up at locations with fixed or temporary needs to provide public toilet services.

Applicable Places: Travel portable toilets have a wide range of applications, covering tourist attractions, stations, docks, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, as well as densely populated public places and bustling commercial streets. These places often have a large flow of people and an urgent need for sanitation facilities. Portable toilets can flexibly meet toilet needs in different scenarios.

Composition Structure: Generally, it consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, moving device, and other parts. These components work together to ensure that the portable toilet has normal usage functions, such as storing and treating fecal sewage and providing cleaning facilities like hand washing.

Classification Methods:

  • By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure portable toilets and composite-structure portable toilets. The single-structure type is relatively independent and simple, while the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and has more complex and diverse functions.
  • By moving method: There are lifting and handling portable toilets, and powered and towed portable toilets. Lifting and handling portable toilets mainly rely on external equipment for lifting and handling; powered and towed portable toilets have their own power or can be moved by towing, offering higher flexibility.
  • By sewage treatment method: It can be classified into water-flush and non-water-flush suction portable toilets, circulating water-flush portable toilets, and dry-packing portable toilets. Different treatment methods are suitable for different environments and conditions. For example, water-flush types are suitable for places with a water supply, while dry-packing types do not require water and are more environmentally friendly and convenient.

Features and Advantages: Travel portable toilets can be conveniently transported to any place where toilets need to be set up and can be used repeatedly. They have significant advantages such as being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. For example, high-end portable toilets are used in popular tourist attractions. Some scenic area portable toilets are welded with thickened galvanized square tubes, making them sturdy and durable. There are also 6-unit row scenic area portable toilets with an overall galvanized steel frame structure and waterproof asphalt shingles on top. They can be moved as soon as they are lifted.
