How to Install a Toilet Sliding Door
The installation of a toilet sliding door can be carried out according to the following steps, ensuring proper operation for safety and effectiveness:

I. Pre-installation Preparation and Foundation Treatment
If installing a sliding door with a hidden track, weld a false beam using hot-dip galvanized square tubes. Use a spirit level to calibrate both the verticality and the height of the false beam, ensuring it is 2-3 centimeters lower than the subsequent ceiling to reserve space for track installation. This step requires precise measurement to avoid uneven track installation due to height errors.
II. Frame and Track Installation
- Frame Fixation: Use a spirit level to determine the vertical point and apply structural adhesive on the wall to fix the frame, ensuring it is vertical and tightly fitted against the wall.
- Track Installation: Fix the overhead track and floor track sequentially. The overhead track must be parallel to the ceiling, and the floor track must be in flat contact with the ground to prevent track inclination from obstructing door sliding.
III. Pulley Adjustment
After installing the pulleys, repeatedly slide the door to check for smooth operation without jamming. If resistance occurs, adjust the pulley height or lubricate the track to ensure easy door sliding.
IV. Door Installation
- Door Fixation: Hang the door onto the track and install a damping device to reduce the impact of closing the door, extending the door's lifespan.
- Sealing Treatment: After tightening the door lock, apply glass adhesive at the joints between the door and the track, as well as the wall, to prevent moisture infiltration and enhance aesthetics.
V. Door Lock Installation (Optional)
- Determine Opening Direction: Stand outside the door; if the lock strike plate is on the right, it is a right-sliding door; if on the left, it is a left-sliding door.
- Positioning and Drilling: Draw a horizontal line on the door, align it with the lock body installation template, mark the drilling positions, drill the lock body hole (approximately 12mm wide, 85mm high, 65mm deep), and clean up any residue.
- Install Lock Body and Backing Plate: Place the lock body into the hole with the arrow pointing upwards, position the backing plate so that its center hole aligns with the lock hook, and secure it with wood screws.
- Fix Inner and Outer Panels: Pass the lock tongue through the cross hole of the lock body, align the screw holes of the inner and outer panels, and tighten them. Test if the screw length is appropriate.
- Install Strike Plate and Box: Determine the direction according to the "UP" mark on the strike box, drill holes at the corresponding positions on the door frame, and fix the strike plate and box.
- Final Inspection: Ensure the door lock opens smoothly and tighten all screws.
Precautions: Wear protective gear during installation to avoid scratches; if electrical circuits or load-bearing structures are involved, it is recommended to have the work done by professionals.
