How to Adjust a Toilet Sliding Door

Admin September 28, 2026

The adjustment of a toilet sliding door should be carried out according to the specific type and issue, with common adjustment methods as follows:

Adjustment of Top-Track Sliding Doors

If the door is tilted (for example, if the screw on the right is loose, causing the door to tilt to the left), two people need to work together. First, lift the door, move it to the left, and lock the upper fixed nut. Remove the right metal insert from the fitting, use a screwdriver to adjust the tightness of the screw, and then lift the door again and insert the metal insert back into the fitting.

Adjustment of Shower Room Sliding Door Rollers

  • Spring-Loaded Roller Structure: When the door derails, simply lift the entire bathroom door to allow the rollers to re-engage with the track. Push and pull the door body 2 - 3 times repeatedly. The rollers will automatically calibrate their position through the internal spring structure. After calibration, tighten the roller fixing screws (located at the top or side of the door frame) and test if the door slides smoothly.
  • Eccentric Roller:
    • Height Adjustment: Use an Allen wrench to loosen the roller fixing screws, lift the door body to the desired height while keeping it parallel, and then re-tighten the screws. Alternatively, use a cross-head screwdriver to rotate the eccentric roller (the rubber core facing down is the lowest position, facing up is the highest position, and horizontally centered is the standard position). Adjust until there is a 5 - 10 mm gap between the bottom of the door and the ground, and then lock it.
    • Balance Adjustment: When the door body is skewed, adjust the direction of the eccentric rollers on both sides simultaneously to ensure that the door body is perpendicular to the track.
  • General Adjustment Screw Operation: Some rollers control the height through adjustment screws on the top or side. Use an Allen wrench to rotate the screw clockwise to raise the door body and counterclockwise to lower it. Keep a 5 - 10 mm gap between the bottom of the door and the ground during adjustment. If the door body is tilted, adjust the screws on both sides simultaneously to make the heights consistent, and then test by pushing and pulling repeatedly after adjustment.
  • Track and Roller Maintenance: Regularly clean dust, stones, hair, and other debris from the track. Check if the screws connecting the track to the door frame are loose and tighten them if necessary. If there is continuous abnormal noise or jamming during sliding, the rollers may be worn and need to be replaced with new ones of the same model and lubricated with special silicone grease.
  • Special Adjustment for K2 Shower Room Movable Doors: If the door scrapes the bottom during sliding, replace the scraping-side roller with an eccentric roller. Use an inner Allen wrench to rotate it counterclockwise to raise it and clockwise to lower it until there is no contact between the door body and the ground during sliding. Test it multiple times after adjustment.

Adjustment of Shower Room Side-Sliding Doors

  • Fine-Tuning with Adjustment Screws: Locate the adjustment screws on the metal strip above the glass door. Use a torque wrench or other tools to rotate the screws appropriately for fine-tuning. Make small adjustments and observe if the sliding door is stable after rotation. If not, adjust it again.
  • Roller Replacement: If fine-tuning the screws does not solve the problem, determine the roller model, purchase suitable rollers, and prepare tools such as a torque wrench and a ladder. Remove the roller protective cover, unscrew the roller fixing screws, remove the old rollers, install the new rollers, and fix the screws. Check the roller operation and the stability of the sliding door.
  • Handling of Specific Types of Rollers: For spring-loaded roller doors that derail, lift the bathroom door to allow the rollers to return to the track and push and pull it two to three times for automatic calibration. For eccentric rollers, adjust the upper and lower rollers simultaneously. Lift the door body, place the lower roller in the center of the track, and fine-tune the position of the upper roller to maintain balance.
