How to Remove the Sliding Door in a Toilet Room

Admin October 10, 2026

If the sliding door in the toilet room is a folding type, you can use a screwdriver to unscrew the sliders in the upper rail of the folding door, and the door will detach from the track for removal. For other types, specific removal methods are not mentioned. When removing, pay attention to safety and properly store the accessories.

Removal Steps for Folding-Type Sliding Doors

  • Prepare Tools: Get a suitable screwdriver. The size of the screwdriver should be selected according to the size of the screws on the sliders to ensure that the screws can be unscrewed smoothly.
  • Locate the Sliders: Observe the upper rail of the folding door and find the sliders that fix the door body to the rail. The sliders are usually located at both ends or key positions in the middle of the rail, serving the functions of connection and sliding.
  • Unscrew the Screws: Align the screwdriver with the screws on the sliders and rotate the screwdriver clockwise to gradually unscrew the screws. During the process of unscrewing, pay attention to applying an appropriate amount of force to avoid over-tightening, which may cause the screws to strip or damage the rail.
  • Remove the Door Body: After all the screws on the sliders have been unscrewed, gently lift the door body to detach it from the rail. Since the door body may be heavy, handle it carefully during removal to avoid damage to the door or injury to yourself.

Removal Precautions

  • Safety First: During the removal process, always pay attention to your own safety. Since the door body and accessories may be heavy, stand firmly while operating to avoid falling due to loss of balance. At the same time, prevent the door body or accessories from falling and injuring yourself or others.
  • Properly Store Accessories: The removed door body and accessories, such as screws, sliders, and rails, should be properly stored. You can put them in a clean box to avoid loss or damage. These accessories may be needed for subsequent installation, and their loss may prevent normal installation.
