Environmental Protection Mobile Toilets in Tibetan Scenic Areas

Admin October 02, 2026

There are mainly two types of environmental protection mobile toilets in Tibetan scenic areas: galvanized steel frame mobile toilets and vacuum environmental protection public toilets for high-altitude and cold regions.

Galvanized Steel Frame Mobile Toilets: These toilets are constructed with a galvanized steel frame, offering high strength and stability to adapt to complex outdoor environmental conditions. They are covered with waterproof asphalt shingles, which not only provide excellent waterproofing but also effectively resist erosion from natural factors such as ultraviolet rays, extending the lifespan of the toilets. Their most notable feature is their mobility; they can be easily moved and deployed between different scenic areas, enhancing the flexibility of toilet usage. The toilets match the color of the wall panels, presenting a unified and aesthetically pleasing appearance. Internally, they are equipped with stainless steel door locks that are sturdy and durable. The toilets are furnished with basic facilities such as squat toilets, washbasins, exhaust fans, and ceiling lights, meeting the basic toilet needs of tourists.

Vacuum Environmental Protection Public Toilets for High-Altitude and Cold Regions: Taking the public toilet at the Sejila Mountain viewpoint as an example, it is a pilot project for vacuum environmental protection public toilets in high-altitude and cold regions. This toilet employs advanced vacuum negative pressure collection technology, which rapidly and effectively collects fecal matter and other waste, reducing odors and pollution. It is also equipped with an indoor insulation system to maintain a suitable internal temperature in cold high-altitude areas, preventing the freezing of pipes and other facilities. A new energy storage system provides sustainable energy supply, reducing reliance on traditional energy sources. A rainwater collection and purification system enables the recycling of water resources, further conserving water. In terms of operational performance, this toilet has served a large number of users, with relatively low water consumption for flushing and waste generation, and total electricity consumption within a reasonable range. The average monthly operation and maintenance costs are low, and no issues such as freezing, blockage, or leakage have occurred during operation. Overall, it operates safely and stably, achieving expected results in water conservation, freeze prevention, odor control, blockage prevention, and environmental protection.
