Tibet Prefabricated House Consultation
Tibet's prefabricated houses mainly include three types: prefabricated buildings, movable panel houses, and packing-box houses. Here is a detailed introduction:

Prefabricated Buildings
The market for prefabricated buildings in Tibet is experiencing rapid growth, with a significant advantage in construction duration. Compared to the 14 - 18 months required for traditional cast-in-place construction, the prefabricated solution takes only 6 - 9 months. Tibet Zangjian Technology Co., Ltd. is the first and only national-level prefabricated building industrial base in the region, offering an integrated solution of factory prefabrication and on-site assembly, which can reduce the construction period by more than 50%. In terms of policy, the "14th Five-Year Plan for Building Energy Efficiency and Green Building Development" requires that by 2025, prefabricated buildings should account for 30% of the newly built urban buildings in that year. As a key area for the Western Development Strategy, Tibet enjoys policy benefits, with prefabricated buildings and green building materials being listed as encouraged characteristic and advantageous industries. In the high-altitude, cold, and strong ultraviolet environment, their thermal insulation performance requires a thermal conductivity coefficient of ≤0.08W/m·K, and they should be able to withstand temperatures as low as -30°C.
Movable Panel Houses
In response to issues such as large temperature differences between day and night and strong ultraviolet radiation on the plateau, movable panel houses have been optimized in terms of material performance and structural adaptability. For example, the steel substrate undergoes low-temperature toughness treatment, and the outer coating is added with ultraviolet absorbers; a bite-type connection technology is used to resist strong winds; the foundation part uses prefabricated concrete counterweights to prevent frost heave and displacement of the foundation; polyurethane rigid foam is used as the core material, providing good thermal insulation and self-extinguishing properties. In terms of transportation and assembly, the panel houses are divided into standard modules for easy transportation and quick assembly, with minimal interference to the plateau ecosystem. Manufacturers have also established accelerated aging laboratories that simulate the plateau environment to ensure product quality.
Packing-Box Houses
With a high degree of prefabrication, most of the construction work can be completed in the factory, and simple on-site assembly is required, making them friendly to the Tibet region with inconvenient transportation and tight construction schedules. They have good seismic performance and thermal insulation properties. Before construction, transportation and site selection issues need to be considered. During construction, professional personnel are required for operation, and attention should be paid to the health of construction workers and the installation of water and electricity supporting facilities in compliance with local standards. They are suitable for various scenarios such as temporary dormitories on construction sites, small shops, and supporting facilities in scenic spots. Long-term use requires consideration of post-maintenance.
