Tianchang Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin September 21, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets in Tianchang should be carried out according to a systematic process, with core steps including pre-installation preparation, positioning and fixing of the main toilet body, and connection of the piping system. Details are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Site Survey and Confirmation
It is necessary to conduct an on-site assessment of the ground flatness and firmness at the installation location, confirm that there are no underground pipelines, cables, or other obstacles, and ensure that there is sufficient operating space for transport vehicles and lifting equipment. For example, if the ground has soft soil or slopes, hardening or leveling should be carried out in advance.
  2. Foundation Treatment
Select the foundation type based on the weight of the toilet:
  • Concrete Foundation: Suitable for long-term fixed installation. It is necessary to pour a platform according to the design dimensions and embed fixing bolts. The surface level error should be controlled within ±2mm.
  • Hardened Ground: Suitable for temporary or lightweight toilets, requiring a ground bearing capacity of ≥2t/m².
  • Matching Pedestals: Use pre-fabricated concrete pedestals or steel structures for leveling. Ensure that the contact surface between the pedestal and the toilet body is flat.
  1. Equipment and Personnel Preparation
Equip with tools such as cranes, forklifts, spirit levels, and wrenches. Installation personnel should be familiar with structural drawings and possess lifting operation qualifications. At the same time, inspect the toilet body for transportation damage, focusing on checking whether the bottom steel structure frame is deformed.

II. Positioning and Fixing of the Main Toilet Body

  1. Lifting and Positioning
The lifting rope must be attached to the designated lifting points at the bottom of the toilet body to avoid deformation due to stress on the roof or walls. During the lifting process, keep the toilet body level and slowly lower it to directly above the foundation, aligning the bottom fixing holes with the embedded bolts.
  2. Leveling and Fixing
Use a spirit level to measure at multiple points on the four corners and middle of the toilet body frame. If the inclination exceeds 0.5%, adjust it with thin steel plate shims. After leveling, tighten the nuts. The torque value should meet the design requirements (usually 50-70N·m) to prevent the toilet body from loosening due to vibration.

III. Connection of the Piping System

  1. Water Supply System
Use PPR pipes or PE pipes to connect to the external water supply network. Wrap the joints with Teflon tape and apply sealant to ensure no leakage. A check valve should be installed at the water inlet to prevent sewage backflow.
  2. Drainage System
For septic tank-type toilets, connect the sewage pipe to the municipal sewer network or an independent septic tank. The pipe diameter should be ≥DN100 and the slope should be ≥2%. For direct-discharge toilets, ensure that the drainage outlet is tightly connected to the municipal well opening to avoid overflow.

Key Precautions: The levelness of the foundation directly affects the drainage function, the sealing of the piping system is crucial for sanitation and safety, and lifting operations must strictly comply with safety regulations. After installation, conduct water and electricity tests to confirm that all functions are normal before putting the toilet into use.
