Taizhou Prefabricated Assembled Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

The development of prefabricated assembled houses in Taizhou has formed a favorable pattern of enterprise agglomeration, policy support, and standardized management.

I. Strong Strength of Related Enterprises Taizhou is home to several representative enterprises in the field of prefabricated assembled construction. Shuguang Prefabricated Construction Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., as a national high-tech enterprise, holds 57 patents. Its PC components have been applied in projects awarded the "Luban Prize", and its project for producing 1 million intelligent components annually has been approved. Taizhou Pulide Construction Technology Co., Ltd., jointly established by two major groups, has the capacity to produce 250,000 cubic meters of PC components and 500,000 cubic meters of commercial concrete annually, serving numerous prefabricated projects. Linhai Chengfa Green Prefabricated Construction Manufacturing Co., Ltd., as a state-owned small and micro enterprise, possesses multiple patents and software copyrights, with outstanding performance in beam and slab production and total output value. Taizhou Dongyue New Building Materials Co., Ltd. and Wenling Municipal Concrete Prefabricated Products Co., Ltd. have been deeply engaged in the field of concrete prefabricated component manufacturing for many years, enjoying high industry recognition.

II. Significant Policy Support Since November 1, 2023, Taizhou has set clear requirements for prefabricated construction in newly transferred residential projects: no less than 10% of the total acreage in central urban areas must adopt steel-structure prefabricated construction, high-assembly-rate prefabricated construction, or prefabricated decoration, with the proportion increasing annually. Meanwhile, commercial housing projects that adopt steel-structure prefabricated construction, ultra-low energy consumption, prefabricated decoration, or high-assembly-rate construction are granted floor area ratio incentives, up to 4% of the planned above-ground floor area. Additionally, the floor area of each individual building that is not included in the floor area ratio must not exceed 5% of its buildable floor area.

III. Strict Evaluation and Management Standards In 2023, the Taizhou Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau issued the "Taizhou Prefabricated Construction Evaluation Management Measures", clarifying that evaluations are divided into pre-evaluation at the design stage and evaluation at the completion stage, with the assembly rate at the completion stage serving as the basis. The evaluation scope covers government-invested newly constructed buildings, newly constructed projects on newly transferred or allocated land in central urban areas, and engineering projects explicitly required to implement prefabricated construction in the land use planning conditions, ensuring controllable quality and unified standards for prefabricated construction.
