Street Mobile Toilet Design

Admin September 28, 2026

The design of street mobile toilets requires comprehensive consideration of multiple factors such as appearance, structure, functionality, and type.

In terms of appearance, color coordination is crucial. Soft hues can be used as the base, such as light beige and light brown, which give a warm and comfortable feeling and reduce the cold impression that public toilets often convey. Deep blue can then be used to outline the edges and accentuate certain parts. Deep blue has the qualities of being steady and grand, enabling harmonious and elegant color combinations without losing visual highlights, allowing the public toilets to blend naturally into the surrounding environment without appearing out of place.

Regarding the structure, the overall structure should aim to be lightweight. Lightweight and durable materials such as high-strength plastics and aluminum alloys should be selected as much as possible. This not only ensures the sturdiness of the toilet but also facilitates its mobility. During the design process, the height and width of the toilet should be reasonably controlled. Excessive height increases the difficulty and cost of movement, while excessive width may occupy too much street space. At the same time, the mobile device should be fully considered for completeness and rationality to ensure that the toilet can be moved conveniently and safely, for example, by using high-quality wheels and brake devices.

In terms of functional design, it is necessary to meet the needs of different groups of people. A third toilet can be added, equipped with facilities suitable for the elderly such as handrails and low-position toilets to facilitate their use. At the same time, baby care stations and children's toilets can be set up to meet the needs of families with children. Additionally, a "sanitation worker's rest station" can be added, which is fully equipped with facilities such as refrigerators, shower rooms, microwaves, and charging ports, creating a warm haven for sanitation workers to rest and recharge, demonstrating care for them.

When it comes to type selection, mobile toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. They can be classified into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets according to their structural forms; into hoisting and handling mobile toilets, powered and towed mobile toilets according to their mobility methods; and into water-flush and waterless-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets according to their sewage treatment methods. During the design process, the appropriate type can be selected according to actual needs and usage scenarios.
