Southeast Asia Container Houses

Admin September 16, 2026

Southeast Asian container houses come in various types and features, meeting the needs of different scenarios.

I. Project Applications Lida Group launched the 2025 Southeast Asian Oil Field Container Camp Project, which utilized 480 container houses, demonstrating the widespread application of container houses in large-scale construction projects in Southeast Asia. These houses provide centralized living and office spaces for personnel in specific scenarios.

II. Characteristics of Foldable Container Houses Foldable container houses exported to Southeast Asia offer significant advantages. They can withstand winds up to force 12, making them suitable for strong wind conditions. They are moisture-proof and rust-resistant, adapting well to the relatively humid environment in Southeast Asia. These houses have versatile uses, such as construction site dormitories and temporary offices. In terms of product technology, they feature modular welding, overall hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion resistance, and dual-cylinder hydraulic folding technology for easy transportation and installation. The wall insulation layer thickness options are 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm, meeting different insulation needs. With good insulation performance, they use rock wool sandwich panels that can withstand temperatures as low as -30℃ and have a fire rating of Class A rock wool board, ensuring high safety. Installation is convenient, requiring only 2-3 people and 15-30 minutes to quickly unfold without the need for large tools. When folded, the height is only 39cm, saving transportation space, and a 40-foot container can hold up to 12 sets. They can be disassembled/folded more than 15 times, with a service life of at least 15 years, and the overall hot-dip galvanizing + spraying process enhances corrosion resistance.

III. Features of Customized Container Houses in Thailand Customized container houses in Thailand are particular about materials and configurations. The frame is made of 2.3mm thick hot-dip galvanized steel, ensuring durability. Doors and windows are made of aluminum alloy tempered coated materials, of good quality. The interior is equipped with standard switch sockets, two light tubes, and an air conditioner to meet basic living needs. The joints between two containers are wrapped with special profiles, which are aesthetically pleasing and prevent water leakage. Bathrooms and bedrooms are equipped with standard facilities such as sinks, exhaust fans, showers, and floor drains, providing comprehensive functionality.

IV. Standard Room Specifications The standard container house in Thailand measures 3 meters in width, 6 meters in length, and 2.8 meters in height, offering a relatively regular space. The overall frame is made of hot-dip galvanized material, with a steel security door and two windows, ensuring safety while providing good ventilation and lighting.
