Songyuan Cement Prefabricated House Installation

Admin September 18, 2026

The installation of cement prefabricated houses in Songyuan should follow general procedures while incorporating local characteristics. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Preparation Phase

  1. Component Inspection: Verify that the dimensions, specifications, and strength of all prefabricated components (such as concrete modules, walls, and floor slabs) meet design requirements. Pay special attention to checking whether the positions of reserved sleeves and reinforcing bars are consistent with the design drawings.
  2. Tool Preparation: Prepare materials such as cement mortar, lifting equipment (e.g., cranes), bolts, and sealing strips. Ensure that the rated load capacity of the lifting equipment meets the weight requirements of the components.
  3. Environmental Assessment: Songyuan experiences cold winters, so it is necessary to plan the construction schedule in advance. Prioritize on-site operations during periods when the temperature is above 5℃ to avoid slow growth in concrete strength or brittleness of sealing materials due to low temperatures.

II. Foundation Treatment

  1. Foundation Construction: Pour a concrete base or strip foundation with a strength of C20 or higher. Adjust the thickness according to geological conditions (generally not less than 300mm). In frozen soil areas, the foundation depth should be placed below the frozen soil layer to prevent frost heave damage.
  2. Precision Control: Measure and adjust the position, dimensions, and elevation of the foundation according to the design drawings, with an error margin controlled within ±5mm to ensure alignment of subsequent component installations.
  3. Rapid Construction: Adopt factory-made foundation modules for integrated housing (such as prefabricated reinforced concrete floor slabs) to shorten on-site pouring time and reduce winter construction risks.

III. Component Lifting and Connection

  1. Sequential Lifting: Lift components in the order of "columns → beams → slabs" and use level gauges and laser positioning instruments to ensure verticality and levelness of the components.
  2. Connection Methods: Prioritize bolt connections or sleeve grouting techniques to enhance structural integrity. For example, concrete module houses can have connection pieces pre-embedded in the factory for direct bolt fixation on-site.
  3. Gap Treatment: Fill gaps between wall panels with polyurethane sealant and repair gaps in floor slabs with high-strength epoxy mortar to prevent cold bridges and leakage.

IV. Roof and Sealing Treatment

  1. Roof Slope: Maintain a slope of 5%-10% when laying color steel plates or cement tiles to ensure smooth drainage and prevent snow accumulation from collapsing the roof.
  2. Waterproof Layer Construction: Lay SBS modified asphalt waterproof membranes on the roof slab with an overlap width of not less than 100mm and seal with a hot air gun.
  3. Wall Panel Sealing: Embed EPDM rubber sealing strips at the joints of wall panels, with a joint precision controlled within ±3mm to prevent winter cold air infiltration.

V. Inspection and Cleanup

  1. Appearance Inspection: Confirm that the house has no cracks or deformations, and that doors and windows open and close smoothly with no脱落 (detachment) of sealing strips.
  2. Function Testing: Check whether water and electricity pipelines are unobstructed and whether the drainage system is free of blockages.
  3. On-site Cleanup: Remove construction waste and keep the site clean to meet environmental protection requirements.

Advantages of Application in Songyuan: The factory-based production model of cement prefabricated houses can shorten the construction cycle by more than 40%, reduce on-site dust and noise pollution, and is particularly suitable for scenarios with short winter construction periods and a need for rapid deployment (such as temporary housing and tourism facilities).
