Small Mobile Environmental Toilet

Admin October 10, 2026

A small mobile environmental toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and is suitable for fixed or temporary locations, providing public toilet services. It features mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation.

I. Basic Composition
A small mobile environmental toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing facilities, water tank, roof, and mobile device. Some intelligent mobile environmental public toilets also integrate internal fecal collection systems, handwashing stations, smart mirrors, breathing lights, and other configurations, which can be directly put into use after factory production.

II. Material and Structural Characteristics
Materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene, which are lightweight and durable, are gradually being adopted. The overall structure needs to balance portability and sturdiness. According to structural form, they can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets: single-structure toilets are usually independent units suitable for small-scale use; composite-structure toilets are composed of multiple units and can expand service capacity. According to mobility, they can be divided into hoisting and handling mobile toilets (relying on mechanical handling) and powered and towed mobile toilets (equipped with a power system or towable for transportation).

III. Sewage Treatment Method Classification

  1. Water-flush and waterless-flush suction type: Feces are collected into a storage tank through water flushing or vacuum suction, and the storage tank is regularly cleaned, suitable for scenarios with a water source or regular maintenance.
  2. Recirculating water-flush type: Biodegradation or chemical treatment technologies are used to purify sewage for recirculating flushing, reducing water consumption and suitable for water-scarce areas.
  3. Dry-packing type: Degradable bags are used to collect feces without water, and they are directly disposed of after packing, which is environmentally friendly and suitable for extreme environments without a water source or sewage discharge conditions.

IV. Application Scenarios and Advantages
Its core advantage lies in flexible deployment, allowing rapid transportation to temporary events (such as exhibitions, music festivals), disaster relief sites, or remote areas to meet sudden or short-term needs. The reusable nature reduces long-term construction costs, and the modular design supports adjusting the scale according to needs, combining economy and practicality.
