Simple Toilet Mobile Home Installation
Admin October 08, 2026
The installation of a simple mobile toilet for home use can be carried out according to the following steps, which require combining pre-installation planning with specific operations to ensure safety and functionality:

I. Pre-installation Planning and Preparation
- Determine the Type and Specifications Select the toilet type based on the household's usage frequency, space conditions, and budget:
- Dry Composting Toilet: Suitable for low-frequency use, relying on natural decomposition. Regularly add covering materials (such as wood chips or rice husks) to control odors and promote decomposition;
- Packing Toilet: Collects waste in biodegradable bags, suitable for temporary or high-frequency use scenarios. Ensure an adequate supply of specialized bags is prepared in advance;
- Microbial Treatment Toilet: Uses microorganisms to decompose waste, requiring a power connection to drive an exhaust fan or heating device. Confirm that the installation location has a stable power supply.
- Site Selection and Space Requirements
- Ventilation Conditions: Prioritize areas near windows or with good ventilation to avoid microbial growth or odor accumulation in humid environments;
- Floor Conditions: Ensure the floor is sturdy and level to prevent the toilet from tilting or being damaged due to unevenness. If the floor is tiled or concrete, add anti-slip mats;
- Operating Space: Reserve at least 50 cm of maintenance access for subsequent cleaning or part replacement.
- Preparation of Supporting Facilities
- Covering Materials: For dry composting toilets, prepare wood chips, rice husks, etc. Cover with about 2-3 cm after each use to isolate air;
- Exhaust Fan: Microbial treatment toilets require an exhaust fan with a recommended power of no less than 10W to ensure 24-hour low-noise operation;
- Power Supply and Socket: Electric toilets need a 10A three-prong socket and should avoid sharing circuits with other high-power appliances.
II. Installation Implementation Steps
- Unpacking Inspection and Verification
- After opening the package, check each component against the instruction manual's list, focusing on inspecting the integrity of vulnerable parts such as the toilet body, buckles, and seals;
- If any components are missing or damaged, immediately contact the supplier for replacements to avoid subsequent failures caused by forced installation.
- Assembly of the Main Frame
- Bottom Anti-slip Treatment: Install silicone anti-slip mats into the four corners of the bottom to ensure stable contact with the floor;
- Toilet Body Connection: Align the buckles or threaded interfaces of the upper and lower toilet bodies, press down or rotate until fully engaged, and check if the seal is flat;
- Accessory Installation: Install exhaust pipes (for microbial treatment toilets), waste storage tanks (for packing toilets), or decomposition tanks (for dry composting toilets) according to the type, ensuring no gaps at the connections.
- Placement and Leveling
- Move the assembled toilet to the predetermined location and use a level to adjust the height of the four corners to ensure overall levelness;
- If the floor is uneven, make fine adjustments by adding wooden pieces or adjusting the thickness of the anti-slip mats. Avoid directly using hard objects to elevate, which may cause structural deformation.
Precautions: After installation, conduct a functional test, such as checking the operation of the exhaust fan, the locking status of the buckles, and the seal to ensure no leaks or odors before putting it into use.
