Simple Portable Toilet Solution
Simple portable toilet solutions can be selected based on usage scenarios and needs from the following types:

1. Portable Toilet Composed of a foldable metal or plastic frame and disposable specialized garbage bags, suitable for short trips or camping scenarios. When in use, unfold the frame, insert a thickened garbage bag, seal the bag opening after excretion, and dispose of it at designated garbage points. Its advantages lie in its lightweight structure, quick assembly, and no need for additional excretion treatment; however, it requires regular replacement of garbage bags and has a certain dependency on garbage disposal facilities.
2. Disposable Emergency Bag A sealed bag containing water-absorbing curing agents or degradable agents, which quickly absorbs liquids and suppresses odors through chemical substances. Use by directly discharging into the bag, then sealing and disposing of it after curing. This solution is small in size and light in weight (usually less than 200 grams), suitable for hiking backpackers or emergency reserves; however, the cost per use is relatively high, and disposal must comply with environmental protection regulations.
3. Simple Pit Toilet In wilderness primitive camping areas, choose a location at least 60 meters away from water sources, campsites, and trails, and dig a shallow pit with a depth of 15-20 centimeters. After use, mix the excreta with soil and cover it with natural materials (such as leaves) to reduce visual traces. This solution is extremely low-cost and environmentally friendly, but it requires strict adherence to the 'Leave No Trace' principle and is only suitable for areas where excreta can be biodegraded.
4. Bucket Toilet Use a 10-20 liter plastic bucket with a lid, line it with a thick garbage bag, and place 2-3 centimeters of water-absorbing material (such as cat litter or sawdust) at the bottom of the bag. The water-absorbing material can absorb odors and prevent liquid leakage, while the bucket lid provides sealing. It can be paired with a simple tent or screen for added privacy, suitable for family camping or fixed campsites; however, it requires regular cleaning of the garbage bag inside the bucket, and the bucket's volume is relatively large, limiting portability.
5. Small Folding Toilet Constructed from a lightweight metal or plastic frame, it unfolds to form a stable toilet seat, with a collection bag (such as a disposable emergency bag or thickened garbage bag) placed underneath. It combines the comfort of a portable toilet with the convenience of a collection bag, suitable for backpack camping or scenarios requiring multiple uses; however, the frame material must ensure load-bearing capacity, and the collection bag must match the frame size.
6. Tent Toilet Combine a small tent with a portable toilet or bucket device, using the tent to provide a privacy barrier. Choose tent materials with good ventilation to avoid stuffiness inside, and ensure that excreta disposal complies with environmental protection requirements. This solution is suitable for team outdoor activities but requires carrying an additional tent, increasing weight and setup time.
