Simple Mobile Toilet
Admin September 21, 2026
Simple mobile toilets can be made in various ways and come in multiple types and structural forms.

Production Methods
Some people use water storage barrels to make portable toilets. The specific steps are as follows:
- Preparing the Water Storage Barrel: Split the water storage barrel in half lengthwise to prepare for constructing the main structure of the toilet.
- Installing the Mobile Device: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board to facilitate the movement of the entire simple toilet, meeting its 'mobile' characteristic.
- Increasing the Barrel Height: Use wooden strips to increase the height of the barrel, providing a more suitable internal space to meet usage needs.
- Creating an Entrance and Building a Door Frame: Cut an opening on the side of the water storage barrel and install sponge strips to build a door frame, facilitating easy access for people.
- Forming Elevated Walls: Insert plastic soft boards to form elevated walls, providing some degree of shelter and privacy protection.
- Installing the Roof: Use the upper half of the water storage barrel as the roof to provide shelter from wind and rain for the interior of the toilet.
- Installing Other Devices: Install drainage pipes, toilets, water tanks, and other devices to complete the basic functions of the toilet.
Structural Composition
Mobile toilets are generally composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, mobile devices, etc. These components work together to enable the normal use of mobile toilets.
Type Classification
- By Structural Form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure toilets may be composed of multiple parts and may have more complex and diverse functions.
- By Mobility Method: They are classified into lifting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling mobile toilets may be more suitable for short-distance and small-scale movements; powered and towed mobile toilets can utilize powered equipment or vehicles for long-distance and large-scale movements.
- By Sewage Treatment Method: They are divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Different sewage treatment methods are suitable for different usage scenarios and environmental requirements.
