Simple Mobile Toilet and Bathroom

Admin September 24, 2026

A simple mobile toilet and bathroom can be made using common materials such as buckets and water storage tanks, combined with some tools and accessories. Here are two common methods of construction:

Method 1: Using a Bucket
First, prepare a wooden board with universal wheels installed as the base to ensure flexible movement. Place the cut bucket on the base and secure it to the bucket body with wooden strips to increase stability. Use an angle grinder to cut an entrance and exit in the bucket for easy access. Next, extend and heighten the bucket with aluminum-plastic panels and install a lid on top to provide better privacy and wind protection. Paint the internal wooden strips white for both aesthetics and moisture resistance. Then, fabricate a wooden door and install it on the door frame to ensure a tight seal. Connect an elbow drain pipe at the bottom and install a floor drain for drainage. Install a water pipe connector on the green bucket and use PVC pipes to assemble a showerhead to meet bathing needs. Drill a hole in the middle of the base as the toilet drain pipe and install a newly purchased toilet, applying sealant around the toilet to prevent leaks.

Method 2: Using a Water Storage Tank and Pallet
First, prepare a pallet with universal wheels fixed and place the recovered water storage tank on it. Use an angle grinder to cut the top of the water storage tank to form an open tank body for easy installation of other facilities. Stack two top-open water storage tanks and secure them with self-tapping screws to increase space height. Cut a rectangular opening as the doorway for easy access. Drill a hole in the internal floor of the water storage tank, insert an elbow and water pipe, and seal it to ensure smooth drainage. Install a toilet and secure it with sealant to prevent movement and leaks. Fix water pipes on the wall with clamps and install a faucet for easy water access. Connect a water pipe to the pipe cap, drill a hole, apply glass glue, and fix a stainless steel basin as a handwashing sink to provide handwashing facilities. Connect the toilet tank inlet pipe and shower hose, install a showerhead bracket, toilet seat, and spray-type showerhead to complete the bathing function. Finally, fabricate a door for the bathroom with wooden boards and hinges and install a door handle to ensure normal door use.
