Shizhu Mobile Toilet Installation
Admin September 22, 2026
There are mainly two methods for the installation of mobile toilets in Shizhu: integral hoisting and on-site assembly. The specific processes and precautions are as follows:

Integral Hoisting (Most Common)
Suitable for factory-prefabricated finished toilets that are directly transported to the site for placement.
- Hoisting into Position: Use a crane or forklift to lift the toilet box and place it at a pre-selected flat location. Key Points: Ensure that the hoisting equipment has sufficient load-bearing capacity and that the operators have professional qualifications to avoid damage to the box due to collisions.
- Leveling and Stabilization: Check if the box is stable and make fine adjustments using the leveling feet (bolts) at the bottom to ensure no wobbling. Key Points: After leveling, use a spirit level to double-check to prevent structural deformation due to minor ground undulations during long-term use.
- Connecting Pipelines: Connect the water supply pipe (for flushing), the sewage pipe (for drainage), and the power cord (for lighting/ventilation). Key Points: The water pipes should be fixed with special clamps, and the power cords should be distinguished between strong current (for lighting) and weak current (for ventilation) to avoid interference.
On-site Assembly
Suitable for modular or frame-type toilets that require on-site assembly.
- Building the Frame: First, install the base, then erect the columns, and connect the top crossbeams to form a 'skeleton'. Key Points: The frame connections should be fastened with high-strength bolts and coated with anti-rust paint to extend the service life.
- Installing Wall Panels: Fix the prefabricated wall panels (color-steel panels/fiberglass) onto the frame and apply sealant at the joints for waterproofing. Key Points: The wall panels should be installed in the order of their numbers to avoid misalignment leading to poor sealing; the sealant should be weather-resistant to prevent aging and cracking.
- Installing Facilities: Install internal equipment such as toilets, sinks, and ventilation fans, and connect the water and electricity pipelines. Key Points: The toilet should be connected to the sewage pipe with a special sealing ring to prevent odor leakage; the ventilation fan should be equipped with an insect-proof net to prevent insects from entering.
Key Precautions
- The Foundation Must Be Flat: An uneven ground can cause the toilet to tilt or the door to not close properly. For soft muddy ground, pour a 10-15cm concrete垫层 (pad layer) or lay crushed stones and compact them first.
- Slope of the Sewage Pipe: When connecting to a septic tank or sewage well, the sewage pipe should maintain a 3% slope (3 cm drop per meter) to prevent sewage accumulation.
- Water and Electricity Safety: The electrical circuit should use waterproof sockets (IP54 rating or above), with wires protected by conduits and equipped with a leakage protector; water pipe joints should be sealed with Teflon tape, and in winter, they should be wrapped with insulation cotton to prevent freezing.
- Reserve Maintenance Space: The installation location should reserve space for the entry and exit of transport vehicles, hoisting operations, and channels for later sludge suction trucks to clean the septic tank.
Post-installation Checklist
- Structure: Check if the door lock is flexible and if the box is stable without wobbling.
- Function: Test if the flushing is smooth and there is no leakage; check if the lighting and ventilation are normal.
- Sealing: Check if the sewage outlet and pipe connections are well-sealed to prevent odor leakage.
