Shenzhen Smart Mobile Toilet

Admin September 23, 2026

Shenzhen has made remarkable progress in smart mobile toilets, primarily reflected in the new smart restroom project at the Shenzhen Bay Port and the solutions provided by enterprises.

I. New Smart Restroom Project at Shenzhen Bay Port

This project is managed and constructed by the Shenzhen Municipal Construction Works Bureau, which has built two HarmonyOS-enabled smart restrooms with floor areas of 400 square meters and 330 square meters, respectively. The project took only 60 days from design and manufacturing to delivery, achieving zero interference with port clearance throughout the construction process, demonstrating efficient construction capabilities and thoughtful consideration for port operations.

These restrooms deeply integrate the HarmonyOS ecosystem, establishing a cloud-based intelligent management system that enables a full-chain smart ecosystem from environmental monitoring to cloud control. Through the linkage of digital means and smart devices, the project achieves green and low-carbon operation and maintenance. For example, smart lighting and water-saving fixtures can be activated and deactivated as needed, and the system can monitor water and electricity consumption data online in real-time, significantly reducing overall energy efficiency. Additionally, the binocular AI passenger flow counter has a prediction accuracy rate exceeding 99% and can automatically generate passenger flow heat maps, providing precise data support for cleaning scheduling and crowd guidance, enhancing management efficiency and user experience.

II. Smart Restroom Solutions Provided by Enterprises

Shenzhen Gewuzhixin Technology Co., Ltd. also offers smart restroom solutions. Its products feature intelligent management, intelligent operation, humanized services, convenient facilities, easy installation and disassembly, and creative aesthetics. These solutions employ integrated design, 5G IoT intelligence, and green environmental protection technologies, making them applicable to various scenarios such as tourist attractions, municipal public toilets, roads, parks, and temporary restrooms, demonstrating wide applicability and flexibility.

The promotion and application of these smart mobile toilets not only enhance the management level and service quality of public restrooms but also provide strong support for the city's smart construction. By integrating advanced technologies and innovative concepts, Shenzhen has set a benchmark in the field of smart mobile toilets, offering valuable experience and models for other cities to follow.
