Sheltered Mobile Toilets
Sheltered mobile toilets mainly include two types: tent-style toilets and outdoor changing tent toilets.

Tent-style toilets: These are a type of mobile toilet with a tent as the main structure, featuring flexible setup and dismantling. Their core advantage lies in strong adaptability, enabling rapid deployment in temporary event venues or emergency scenarios. For example, during the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War on September 3, 2025, tent-style toilets were set up in crowded areas such as the east side of the Great Hall of the People and the west side of the National Museum of China. After upgrades and renovations, these toilets have more comprehensive functions: new barrier-free restrooms have been added to meet the needs of special groups, privacy protection levels have been improved through optimized structural design, and efficient odor control technologies have been adopted to enhance the user experience. Their main materials are usually high-strength waterproof canvas or lightweight alloy frames, ensuring structural stability while facilitating transportation and reuse.
Outdoor changing tent toilets: Represented by the Naturehike folding changing tent, these products achieve multi-functional integration through modular design. Their typical application scenarios include single-person showers, sun protection rest areas, and temporary mobile toilets. Mainstream products on the market, such as outdoor shower tents and camping changing tents, generally have the following characteristics:
- Portability: They adopt a foldable structure, which is compact after storage and easy to transport by car or by hand.
- Functionality: Some products achieve a warming effect through thickened fabrics or enhance anti-transparency performance through special coating technologies.
- Adaptability: They have a moisture-proof layer at the bottom to cope with muddy or slippery ground, and some models are equipped with drainage systems to support shower functions.
The privacy protection of these tent toilets relies on fully enclosed structures, usually with zipper doors or magnetic doors for quick opening and closing. Odor control depends on natural ventilation designs or optional small exhaust fans. It is worth noting that some high-end models have integrated biodegradable toilet modules, which achieve harmless treatment of feces by adding degrading bacteria agents, further expanding their application scenarios.
Both types of sheltered mobile toilets take modularity and lightweight as their core design concepts. Through material innovation and functional integration, they effectively solve the contradiction between temporary toilet needs and space limitations, becoming important infrastructure in large-scale events, outdoor adventures, and emergency rescue fields.
