Shanwei Park Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin October 09, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets in Shanwei Park should follow standardized procedures to ensure safety, stability, and full functionality. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Preliminary Preparation

  1. Site Confirmation: Select a flat and well-ventilated area, avoiding low-lying waterlogged spots and water source pollution zones (such as sewage discharge outlets and garbage dumping sites) to prevent odor diffusion or environmental pollution.
  2. Equipment Inspection: Verify that all components, including the main frame, toilet bowls, fecal storage tanks, connectors, and sealing strips, are complete. Check for any deformation or damage to structural parts to ensure equipment integrity.
  3. Tool Preparation: Equip with expansion screws, wrenches, spirit levels, silicone guns, etc. For water-flush toilets, plan the water supply access path in advance.

II. Foundation Fixing and Main Body Installation

  1. Main Body Positioning: Hoist the mobile toilet main body to the designated location and adjust it to a level state using a spirit level to avoid structural tilting due to uneven ground.
  2. Bottom Fixing:
    • Expansion Screw Fixing: Drill holes at the reserved positions on the bottom of the main body, insert expansion screws, and tighten them. This method is suitable for hard surfaces like concrete.
    • Counterweight Block Reinforcement: If drilling is not possible on the ground (such as asphalt or soft surfaces), place concrete counterweight blocks around the main body to stabilize the structure through gravity.

III. Core Component Installation

  1. Toilet Bowl and Sewage System:
    • Connect the toilet bowl's sewage outlet to the fecal storage tank's inlet, using sealing rings or silicone caulking to ensure no leakage at the connection.
    • For dry toilets, fix the position of the fecal storage tank and reserve a cleaning port; for water-flush toilets, connect the water tank to the water inlet pipe and test the water pressure for stability.
  2. Water and Electricity Systems:
    • Water-flush: Connect to municipal water supply or an independent water tank, install a float valve to control the water level, and connect the drainage pipe to the municipal sewage well or septic tank.
    • Electricity: Connect the power supply for lighting and exhaust fans, install a leakage protection device, and test the switch sensitivity and insulation performance.

IV. Auxiliary Facilities and Sealing Debugging

  1. Doors, Windows, and Accessories: Install fly-proof windows and anti-theft doors, adjust the hinges to ensure tight closure; add handrails, hooks, and lay anti-slip floor mats.
  2. Sealing Treatment: Use silicone strips to seal the gaps between the main body and the ground, as well as the edges of doors and windows, to prevent odor leakage.
  3. Function Testing:
    • Flush Testing: Continuously flush 3-5 times to check the drainage speed and the liquid level change in the fecal storage tank.
    • Sewage Testing: Simulate usage scenarios to confirm that the sewage pipe is not blocked.
    • Cleaning and Organization: Remove installation residues and place consumables such as toilet paper and deodorizers.

V. Safety Inspection and Acceptance

  1. Structural Stability: Shake the main body to check for loose fasteners and confirm that the counterweight blocks or expansion screws are not displaced.
  2. Signage Posting: Post emergency contact numbers, usage instructions, and cleaning cycles in conspicuous locations.
  3. Acceptance and Delivery: The installation team and park management jointly inspect the functionality and safety indicators, sign and confirm before putting the toilet into use.

Note: The installation of integrated box-type toilets is simpler, requiring only hoisting into place and connecting water and electricity as well as sewage pipes, which can be completed in 2-4 hours, suitable for emergency needs.
