Shangqiu Mobile Toilet Installation

Admin September 21, 2026

The installation of mobile toilets in Shangqiu should follow standardized procedures, covering three major stages: pre-installation preparation, construction, and layout management, while paying attention to environmental protection, compliance, and maintenance matters.

Pre-installation Preparation

  1. Demand and Site Planning: Determine the number of toilets based on the scale of the event and the number of users, with a recommendation of one toilet per 50 people. Survey the site in advance to avoid low-lying areas prone to waterlogging, high-voltage power lines, and pedestrian pathways, ensuring that vehicles can park and operate.
  2. Equipment and Tool Inspection: After receiving the equipment, inspect the main structure and accessories (such as door hinges and drainage valves) for integrity, and confirm that the quantity and model match. Prepare tools such as wrenches and spirit levels, and set up safety signs such as warning cones and reflective tapes.
  3. Service Provider Qualification Verification: Choose a service provider with a business license and sanitation permit. Review their past project cases and customer evaluations to ensure that the equipment complies with the "General Technical Conditions for Mobile Toilets" standard.

Installation Construction

  1. Site Selection and Foundation Treatment: The toilets should be located within 30 meters of the event area, away from pollution sources, and close to water sources and drainage systems. The ground must be hardened and level, with a load-bearing capacity of ≥2 tons/㎡. For soft soil, a gravel or concrete foundation should be laid.
  2. Main Body Installation and Commissioning: Use a forklift or crane for stable lifting, ensuring that the body is level (calibrated with a spirit level) and leaving a 0.5-meter activity space. Connect the drainage pipe to the nearest drainage outlet or temporary collection bucket. External power connections should be operated by a professional electrician and grounded for protection.
  3. Function Testing and Detail Refinement: After assembly within 2 hours, test the flushing, lighting, and ventilation systems, clean the interior, and place usage instruction signs. Check whether facilities such as door locks and emergency call buttons are functioning properly.

Layout Specifications and Management

  1. Functional Zoning and Signage: It is recommended that the ratio of male to female toilet stalls be 1:1.5, with the width of the access aisle for accessible stalls being ≥1.5 meters. Set up directional signs within 5 meters of the toilets and install warning lights at night.
  2. Hygiene and Safety Protection: Clean twice daily, provide disinfectants and toilet paper, and have dedicated personnel inspect during peak hours. Install anti-slip pedals, handrails, and lightning protection devices. Add sunshades in summer and provide frost protection in winter.

Precautions

  1. Environmental Protection and Compliance: Prioritize the use of water-flush or packing-type toilets, and prohibit direct-discharge equipment. Report to the urban management department in advance to ensure that the installation location complies with the "Urban Environmental Sanitation Facility Setting Standards."
  2. Emergency Response and Maintenance: Agree on a 24-hour maintenance response mechanism, check the equipment status daily during the rental period, and replenish consumables in a timely manner. After the event, plan a withdrawal route and use fixing devices to ensure safe transportation.
