Shanghai Professional Mobile Toilet Materials

Admin October 12, 2026

The commonly used materials for professional mobile toilets in Shanghai mainly fall into three categories: stainless steel, metal carved panels, and fiberglass-reinforced plastic. In addition, customized materials are also used for parts such as frameworks, walls, and inner ceilings.

Characteristics of Main Materials

  1. 304 Stainless Steel: It can withstand acid-base environments with a pH range of 4 - 10, is resistant to high humidity, and does not rust easily. Its outdoor service life can exceed 20 years. Its core advantage lies in its outstanding corrosion resistance, making it suitable for environments with a high risk of long-term corrosion, such as coastal areas or areas around chemical industrial parks.
  2. Metal Carved Panels: They can tolerate acid-base environments with a pH range of 5 - 9. The outer layer is coated with an anti-corrosion coating, providing good moisture resistance and a weathering life of about 15 years. This material has balanced overall performance and strong customizability in appearance. Through carving techniques, it can achieve a variety of textures and colors, making it suitable for ordinary scenarios with aesthetic requirements, such as scenic spots and commercial streets.
  3. Fiberglass-Reinforced Plastic: It can withstand acid-base environments with a pH range of 3 - 11, has complete waterproof properties, and excellent moisture resistance. Its outdoor service life is about 12 years. It has outstanding acid-base resistance but relatively low hardness, making it easily scratched by sharp objects. Moreover, the repair cost after damage is relatively high, so it is more suitable for environments with a medium level of corrosion, such as urban public areas or temporary event venues.

Material Selection for Other Parts

  1. Framework Materials: Steel structure framework or stainless steel columns are commonly used (customized according to requirements). Steel structure frameworks have lower costs and are suitable for general scenarios; stainless steel columns enhance corrosion resistance and are suitable for high-humidity or coastal environments.
  2. Wall Materials: Galvanized pipe keels or stainless steel brackets are used, paired with fire-resistant painted panels (customized according to requirements). Galvanized pipe keels are cost-effective, while stainless steel brackets improve durability. Fire-resistant painted panels can meet fire safety requirements.
  3. Inner Ceiling Materials: PVC ceiling panels or aluminum alloy gusset plates can be selected (customized according to requirements). PVC ceiling panels are waterproof and moisture-proof with relatively low costs; aluminum alloy gusset plates have higher strength and better durability, making them suitable for long-term use scenarios.

Material selection should comprehensively consider environmental corrosion, usage frequency, budget, and aesthetic requirements. For example, in high-corrosion environments, 304 stainless steel is preferred, while in ordinary scenarios, metal carved panels or fiberglass-reinforced plastic can be selected to balance performance and cost.
