Shanghai Container Mobile Toilet

Admin October 09, 2026

The Shanghai container mobile toilet is a modular, rapidly deployable, and environmentally friendly sanitation facility transformed from an international standard container frame, with the following features and application scenarios:

I. Structure and Configuration
The main body is made of weather-resistant steel with a wall thickness of 1.5-2.0mm. The external coating consists of an epoxy zinc-rich primer and a polyurethane topcoat, providing a corrosion resistance lifespan of 10-15 years. The interior is standardized, including ceramic squat toilets or flush toilets, handwashing basins, mirrors, exhaust fans, LED lighting, and waterproof switches; high-end models can be equipped with air conditioners, water heaters, sensor flushing systems, and accessibility handrails. Common sizes are based on 20-foot (approximately 6m×2.4m×2.6m) or 40-foot (approximately 12m×2.4m×2.6m) containers: a 20-foot single unit can accommodate 1-2 toilet stalls, while a 40-foot single unit can accommodate 4-6 toilet stalls plus a management room.

II. Application Scenarios and Advantages

  1. Temporary venues: Such as construction sites, outdoor music festivals, and sports events, where no foundation is required, and the unit can be used within 1 hour after leveling and hardening the ground and connecting to water and electricity.
  2. Long-term fixed venues: Suitable for scenic spots, parks, and docks, with a construction period 80% shorter than that of traditional brick-and-mortar toilets, minimal losses during relocation, and high reusability.
  3. Emergency disaster relief: Rapidly transported to disaster areas by trucks or container ships to provide emergency sanitation services and effectively prevent disease transmission.

III. Technical Standards and Sewage Disposal Methods
Domestic production must comply with the standards of GB/T 37267-2018 Building Container Guardrails and CJ/T 454-2014 Integrated Toilets, with key indicators including a wind resistance rating of ≥8, electrical insulation resistance of ≥2MΩ, and a sewage tank capacity of ≥1000L (if applicable). Sewage disposal methods are divided into direct discharge (requiring connection to municipal sewage networks) and self-suction (with built-in sewage tanks for collection, requiring regular pumping), with the latter being more suitable for areas without sewage networks but requiring consideration of waste treatment costs.

IV. Price Range
Prices are influenced by configuration, size, material, and customization level: basic 20-foot single-stall models range from 15,000 to 30,000 yuan in the market; high-end configurations (such as air conditioning and solar power supply) can reach 50,000 to 80,000 yuan; 40-foot multi-stall models with management rooms are mostly priced between 40,000 and 100,000 yuan. Additionally, there are simple mobile toilets on the market, such as outdoor construction site public toilets, priced as low as 680-800 yuan, but these products are usually not container-structured and have more basic functions.
