Shanghai Container House Exhibitions

Both 2025 and 2026 will feature container house–related exhibitions in Shanghai, with details as follows:

2025 exhibition:

• Name: 2025 Shanghai Hotel Container & Prefabricated Housing Exhibition, part of the 33rd China International Building Decoration Fair and the Shanghai International Hotel Engineering Design & Supplies Expo.
• Date and venue: March 31 to April 3, 2025, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
• Exhibits: Centered on containers and prefabricated housing, Hall E2 covers flooring, resilient flooring, carpets, whole-home customization, doors, windows and automatic doors, fresh-air purification and HVAC equipment, wellness and fitness, parent-child recreation, outdoor furniture, RVs, and other engineering supporting categories.
• Positioning: Focused on innovation and trends, it offers designers and project teams a one-stop sourcing platform. In conjunction with the HDD series of industry events, it covers demand from high-end properties such as luxury villas, hotels and restaurants, shopping malls and clubs, integrating design, construction, fit-out, and new-material solutions, and attracting well-known building-material brands from China and abroad.

2026 exhibition:

• Name: 2026 Shanghai Capsule, Container, Prefabricated Housing & RV Exhibition, part of the 2026 Shanghai International Hotel Engineering Design & Supplies Expo and the 2026 Shanghai International Hotel & Commercial Space Expo.
• Date and venue: March 31 to April 3, 2026, a 4-day show at all 17 halls of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
• Exhibits: Continuing the container and prefabricated housing theme, Hall E2 further expands its range to include floor materials, turnkey customization and engineering design, flooring, resilient flooring, carpets, whole-home customization, doors, windows and automatic doors, fresh-air purification and HVAC equipment, wellness and fitness, parent-child recreation, outdoor furniture, RVs, and other engineering supporting categories.
• Organizers: Jointly organized by the China Tourist Hotel Association, the China General Chamber of Commerce, the China Association of Lighting Industry, the China Architecture Culture Center under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the China Chamber of Commerce of Foodstuffs and Native Produce, and Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd., underscoring industry authority and resource integration.

Both editions put container houses at the core, but the 2026 show is larger in scale, covers more halls, and has higher-level organizers—well suited for professional visitors focused on industry trends, high-end procurement, and cross-sector collaboration.
