Shanghai Bund Mobile Toilets

During peak tourist seasons, the Shanghai Bund increases the number of mobile toilets, and their locations can be queried through a mini-program, receiving high praise from foreign tourists.

Increase in Mobile Toilets

During extreme peak tourist periods such as National Day and May Day holidays, the management department of the Shanghai Bund takes measures to increase the number of mobile toilets to cope with the surge in tourist numbers. Specifically, two locations with a total of three sets of temporary mobile toilets are added at the intersection of Zhongshan East Road and Beijing East Road, as well as on the sidewalk of Yan'an East Road. The addition of these mobile toilets effectively alleviates the problem of difficult toilet access for tourists during peak tourist seasons, providing a more convenient toilet environment for visitors.

Mini-Program Query

To facilitate tourists in quickly finding the locations of mobile toilets, the "Bund Xiaoces" mini-program has been launched. This mini-program currently includes two mobile toilets along the Bund and provides clear map positioning and real-time navigation functions. Tourists only need to open the mini-program to easily obtain the specific locations of the mobile toilets and quickly reach them through the navigation function, greatly saving time spent searching for toilets.

Foreign Tourist Reviews

After encountering Shanghai's mobile toilets, some foreign tourists have given them high praise. They believe that Shanghai's mobile toilets are not only clean and tidy but also equipped with music inside, providing a more comfortable toilet experience for tourists. This humanized design not only enhances Shanghai's city image but also makes foreign tourists feel the city's meticulousness and thoughtfulness.

Significance and Impact

The addition of mobile toilets and the launch of the query mini-program at the Shanghai Bund not only solve the problem of difficult toilet access for tourists during peak tourist seasons but also enhance the tourist experience. Meanwhile, the positive reviews of mobile toilets by foreign tourists further demonstrate Shanghai's urban civilization and internationalization level. These measures are of great significance for enhancing the competitiveness of Shanghai's tourism industry and promoting its sustainable development.
