Shanghai Advantage Mobile Toilet Design
The design of Shanghai's advantageous mobile toilets is reflected in multiple aspects, including site selection and appearance, internal layout and facilities, functional service upgrades, and construction advantages.

Flexible Site Selection and Diverse Appearances: Most mobile toilets in Shanghai are of the mobile prefabricated type, enabling fast construction and flexible site selection. For example, the public toilets in Huaxin Town, Qingpu District, have a unified, simple, and elegant appearance with a two-story design. The Baolong public toilet is located in a park, surrounded by large commercial districts and residential areas; the newly built public toilet in the industrial park is situated at an intersection, providing convenience for truck drivers and others. There is also an Apple Warehouse-shaped mobile toilet, whose exterior walls are made of metal carved panels, offering waterproof, moisture-proof, and high-temperature resistance properties, with a logo design and a public hand-washing area in front.
Well-Equipped Internal Layout and Facilities: In terms of toilet layout, the proportion of female toilet stalls has been increased, and each stall is equipped with a smart display. In addition to conventional male and female toilets and a management room, third toilets are provided, equipped with various facilities to meet the needs of different groups of people, as well as convenient facilities such as seats and wheelchairs. Regarding the smart system, a smart public toilet system is installed at the entrance, which can provide real-time feedback on toilet stall usage, temperature, and humidity information. For other facilities, 85% of the new mobile toilets adopt odor-proof designs, and high-end models are equipped with handrails, non-slip floors, and constant temperature systems.
Thoughtful Functional and Service Upgrades: Two newly built public toilets are equipped with sanitation rest rooms, providing rest areas for sanitation workers, located on the second floor of the public toilets, with well-equipped rest rooms. The newly built public toilet in the industrial park, considering the needs of surrounding truck drivers, has created a driver's home rest room, providing areas for sofas, food heating, and mobile phone charging.
Significant Construction Advantages: The use of modular light steel structures and standardized components simplifies the construction of the toilet bodies, enabling rapid installation, disassembly, and recyclability. Processes such as water and electricity pipeline layout and wall paneling are completed in the workshop, and subsequent transportation, lifting, and assembly work can be carried out for immediate use after leaving the factory.
