How to Choose and Lay Tiles for Mobile Toilets in Shaanxi

Admin October 11, 2026

The selection and laying of tiles for mobile toilets in Shaanxi can refer to the methods used for laying tiles in ordinary toilets, with appropriate adjustments made based on the characteristics of mobile toilets. Here is a detailed introduction:

Tile Selection

  • Material: Mobile toilets are used frequently and may face various environmental conditions. Therefore, it is advisable to choose tiles that are wear-resistant, slip-resistant, and easy to clean. For example, full-body tiles, which have consistent material on both sides, are highly wear-resistant and suitable for mobile toilet floors. Glazed tiles, with a glazed surface, offer excellent stain resistance and can be used on walls.
  • Size: Choose tiles of appropriate size based on the space available in the mobile toilet. For smaller spaces, smaller tiles such as 200mm×200mm or 300mm×300mm can make the space appear more spacious. For larger spaces, larger tiles like 600mm×600mm can be used to reduce the number of seams and create a cleaner overall look.
  • Color: Considering the lighting and usage atmosphere of mobile toilets, light-colored tiles are a good choice, such as white or beige, which can increase the brightness of the space and give a clean and refreshing feeling. To create a unique style, some colored tiles can also be used as accents.

Laying Method

  • Base Preparation: Ensure that the base of the mobile toilet floor or wall is flat, solid, dry, and free of oil stains. If there are cracks or unevenness in the base, they should be repaired and leveled first to ensure the firmness and flatness of the tile laying.
  • Material Preparation: For the floor tiles of the toilet, use coarse sand mixed with cement. The cement-sand mixture must be in a dry paste form. This dry paste can better fix the tiles and prevent them from shifting.
  • Laying Process: First, lay a layer of dry paste on the floor or wall of the toilet, then place the tiles on top. According to the pre-marked lines, apply pure cement to the soaked tiles and lay them down, tapping them tightly with a hammer to ensure full contact between the tiles and the base and avoid hollow spaces.
  • Seam Treatment: After the tiles are laid, use grout to smooth out the seams. Grout not only beautifies the tile seams but also prevents dirt and water from penetrating, extending the service life of the tiles.
