Self-made Mobile Toilet Renovation Door

Admin October 02, 2026

For self-made mobile toilet renovation doors, you can refer to the following two common solutions:

Solution 1: Hidden Track Sliding Door This solution is suitable for mobile toilet renovations that require space-saving and aesthetic appeal. First, use hot-dip galvanized square tubes to weld a false beam structure. The advantage of hot-dip galvanizing is that it effectively prevents steel from rusting and extends its service life. During welding, a level is used to ensure the verticality of the false beam, while controlling its height to be 2-3 centimeters lower than the ceiling. This height difference is reserved for the subsequent installation of the hidden track. After the track is installed, connect the sliding door to the track to enable sliding opening and closing. This design not only hides the door under the ceiling, making it visually cleaner, but also avoids the issue of traditional swing doors occupying too much space due to their opening angle, making it particularly suitable for mobile toilets with limited space.

Solution 2: Hinge-Fixed Swing Door If the mobile toilet structure includes components such as a water storage tank, the door can be installed using the water storage tank frame. Specifically, fix hinges on the water storage tank frame, with the other side of the hinges connected to a wooden board, which serves as the door of the toilet. This design utilizes the existing structure, reducing the consumption of additional materials and keeping costs low. After the door is installed, a door handle needs to be installed on the door for easy opening and closing. It is important to note that the choice of wooden board should consider its water resistance and durability. It is recommended to use waterproof-treated boards to prevent deformation due to moisture over long-term use. At the same time, the fixing position of the hinges needs to be precisely measured to ensure smooth door operation and avoid issues such as jamming or excessive gaps that could lead to odor leakage.

Both solutions have their advantages and disadvantages. The hidden track sliding door focuses more on space utilization and aesthetics but has a relatively higher construction difficulty. The hinge-fixed swing door, on the other hand, has lower costs and simpler construction but is slightly inferior in terms of space occupation and aesthetics. You can choose the appropriate solution based on the actual needs and budget of the mobile toilet.
