Scenic Area Universal Mobile Toilet
A scenic area universal mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It has advantages such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation. There are various classification methods, and its design follows certain principles. Ecological public toilets are also suitable for scenic areas.

I. Basic Composition A scenic area universal mobile toilet is generally composed of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. Initially, it was made of materials such as wood, with a simple structure and function, and was prone to absorbing odors. Later, it gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass and polyethylene.
II. Classification Methods
- By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively independent and simple, while the composite-structure type is more complex and may have more functions or accommodate more space.
- By mobility method: It is divided into lifting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and trailer-mounted mobile toilets. Lifting and handling types are suitable for short-distance scenarios or those requiring simple tools for movement; powered and trailer-mounted types can be moved long distances using power devices such as vehicles.
- By sewage treatment method: It is divided into water-flush and non-water-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Different treatment methods are suitable for different environments and needs. For example, water-flush types are suitable for places with a water supply, while dry-packing types do not require a water source and are more suitable for water-scarce areas.
III. Design Principles The design of mobile toilets should follow the principles of mobility and convenience, economic durability, environmental protection and ecological friendliness, and improving efficiency and promoting humanity. The overall structure should consider being lightweight, using lightweight and durable materials as much as possible; the structure should be sturdy; the height and width of the toilet should also be considered during design; and the mobile device should be fully considered for completeness and rationality.
IV. Ecological Public Toilets Ecological public toilets are also suitable for scenic areas. They are a type of public toilet based on solid-liquid separation technology, achieving harmless treatment of excreta through microbial decomposition. They have features such as water conservation, mobility, and non-water flushing. The toilet body adopts a steel-frame cement composite structure, with excellent thermal insulation performance and a service life of up to more than 20 years. Some models are equipped with intelligent temperature control systems and have sterilization and disinfection functions.
