Standard Configuration of Mobile Toilets in Scenic Areas

Admin October 01, 2026

Currently, there is no clearly unified standard configuration for mobile toilets in scenic areas, but they generally meet basic toilet functions, focusing on durability and practicality in terms of materials and structure. Some also consider humanized design, and configurations may vary among different manufacturers and actual needs. Here are the common configurations of mobile toilets in scenic areas:

Structural framework: Generally, it consists of a frame structure welded from steel. The bottom is usually welded with channel steel or I-beams, which can ensure the overall stability and sturdiness of the toilet, enabling it to withstand a certain amount of weight and external impacts. The columns are mostly made of square steel, providing strong support for the walls. Wall materials are installed on the wall foundation, with common options including color-coated steel sheets, fiberglass-reinforced plastics, stainless steel, and metal carved panels. These materials each have their own characteristics. Color-coated steel sheets are cost-effective and easy to install; fiberglass-reinforced plastics are corrosion-resistant and have high strength; stainless steel has a beautiful appearance and strong durability; metal carved panels combine aesthetics with certain thermal insulation properties.

Internal configurations: Some mobile toilets in scenic areas have higher internal configurations than ordinary fixed toilets. Taking the 4-stall high-end mobile toilet from Dezhou Hongtu Metal Products Co., Ltd. as an example, it has a galvanized steel frame structure overall, with a sloped roof design for the wall top, which is conducive to drainage and preventing water accumulation. It is also equipped with a spacious rain-proof corridor to provide shelter from wind and rain for users. Meanwhile, public washbasins are set up to facilitate hand cleaning for users, and some may even have two or more to meet the needs of multiple people using them simultaneously. The toilet doors are generally made of aluminum alloy, which is lightweight, durable, and not prone to rust.

Basic functions: Regardless of the differences in configurations, mobile toilets in scenic areas will all meet basic toilet functions, that is, setting up a sufficient number of stalls or toilets to meet the toilet needs of tourists in the scenic area. Moreover, reasonable designs will be made in terms of ventilation and lighting to ensure good air circulation and sufficient light inside the toilet, enhancing the user experience.
