Rural Mobile Environmental Toilet
A rural mobile environmental toilet is a public sanitation facility designed based on new materials and water-saving technologies, featuring multiple technical routes and subcategories, suitable for public places such as scenic spots, service areas, and rural areas.

I. Structure and Configuration
The frame of a rural mobile environmental toilet is welded using national standard steel, with its surface covered with anti-corrosion and fire-resistant materials such as color-coated steel plates or carved panels, ensuring a service life of over 20 years. Internally, it is equipped with an independent toilet pit partitioned treatment system: the urine channel utilizes gravity flow, while the feces channel is cleaned by a piston-type scraper mechanical device, reducing manual intervention. It is also equipped with anti-slip floors, automatic flushing toilet bowls, and ventilation and lighting systems, complying with the GBLT18091-92 standard to ensure safety and hygiene during use.
II. Technical Routes and Categories
Since 2012, rural mobile environmental toilets have gradually developed three main technical routes:
- Waterless Flush Type: This type treats feces through microbial degradation or packaging, requiring no water source, and is suitable for water-scarce areas;
- Foam Sealing Type: This type uses foaming liquid to cover the toilet bowl, isolating odors and reducing flushing water volume;
- Water Flush Type: This type adopts water-saving flushing devices combined with septic tanks or sewage treatment systems, suitable for areas with a water source.
Subcategories include antique-style (blending with rural architectural styles), temporary construction site type (portable and detachable), marine type (corrosion-resistant design), etc. They also support vehicle-mounted mobility or traditional public toilet renovations, with product forms expanding to trailer-type, box-type substation cabinet-type, stainless steel sentry box-type, etc., meeting diverse scenario demands.
III. Price Differences
Prices vary depending on the type and configuration:
- Simple construction site toilet (with feces tank and shower room) costs approximately 1235 yuan;
- Sanitation toilet (directly supplied by Guangdong factories, suitable for rural renovations, scenic spots, and parks) costs approximately 689 yuan;
- Microbial toilet (prefabricated public toilet with integrated biodegradation technology) costs approximately 8599 yuan;
- Microbial ecological restroom (high-end configuration in Beijing) costs approximately 9500 yuan;
- HDPE plastic mobile toilet (for temporary outdoor use, corrosion-resistant) costs approximately 7400 yuan.
IV. Application Scenarios
Rural mobile environmental toilets have been widely applied in rural tourism, farmland operation areas, temporary event venues, etc. Through modular design, they enable rapid deployment, effectively addressing issues such as long construction periods, high costs, and difficult pollution treatment associated with traditional public toilets, promoting the upgrading of rural sanitation facilities and ecological environmental protection.
