Rural Household Outdoor Mobile Toilet

Admin October 22, 2026

Rural household outdoor mobile toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole to meet the fixed or temporary toilet needs of rural families. The following is an introduction from multiple aspects:

Materials and Configurations: The materials are diverse, commonly including steel and plastic. Some are made of color-coated steel plates or metal carved panels, which are highly durable. Internally, they are typically equipped with squat toilets, hand-washing exhaust fans, lighting fixtures, flush tanks, etc. Some even have shower functions. Prices vary widely, ranging from four to five hundred yuan to five to six thousand yuan, with higher configurations commanding higher prices.

Structures and Classifications: In terms of structural form, they are divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. According to the method of movement, there are lifting and handling types, as well as powered and towed types. Based on sewage treatment methods, they can be classified as water-flush and non-water-flush suction types, recirculating water-flush types, and dry-packing types. Water-flush types rely on a water source, non-water-flush suction types use suction equipment to handle feces, recirculating water-flush types can purify and reuse sewage, and dry-packing types collect feces in packages.

Advantages: They have the characteristics of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport, allowing them to be quickly delivered to locations where they are needed and used repeatedly. For example, after renovations in Shitai County, Anhui Province, villagers no longer have to grope in the dark to use outdoor toilets at night; in Shuyang County, Jiangsu Province, villagers use three-chamber septic tanks, and even wastewater can be recycled, solving toilet problems and improving the quality of life.

Purchase and Installation: When purchasing, if durability is a priority, color-coated steel plates or metal carved panels can be chosen. For installation, the site should be more than 30 meters away from a water source and at a higher elevation to prevent sewage backflow and odor accumulation. The installation process is relatively simple and can be completed by two people working together in half a day.
