Precast Panels for Slope Protection of Rural Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

Precast panels for slope protection of rural houses are engineering materials used to prevent landslides and collapses caused by rainwater erosion, soil self-weight, and other factors on the slopes behind houses, thereby protecting the safety of the main structure of the houses. They are typically made of precast concrete hollow slabs or oversulfurated phosphogypsum slag cement concrete products.

Engineering Applications and Functions:
The slope protection precast panel project is suitable for scenarios with a slope height of approximately 3.5 meters and a slope gradient of about 45°. The slope soil is mainly silty clay with local gravel content, and its stability is generally average. By installing precast panels along with a drainage system, foundation, and coping structure, the stability of the slope structure can be ensured, with a service life of ≥20 years, meeting the daily safety protection needs of rural houses.

Material Requirements and Specifications:
The commonly used dimensions of precast concrete hollow slabs are 1200mm×600mm×120mm, made of C30 concrete, with a smooth surface, no cracks, and meeting strength requirements. If oversulfurated phosphogypsum slag cement concrete products are used, the concrete strength grade should not be lower than C25, and the 28-day compressive strength should meet the design requirements. The dimensional deviations of the slab body should be controlled within ±5mm for length and width, ±3mm for thickness, with a surface flatness of ≤5mm, and edge and corner damage depth of ≤5mm and an area of ≤25mm². Cement should be ordinary Portland cement or Portland slag cement with a strength grade of ≥42.5. Coarse aggregates should be crushed stone with a maximum particle size of ≤25mm, a mud content of ≤1%; fine aggregates should be medium sand with a mud content of ≤3% and a mud cake content of ≤1%. If reinforcement is designed, steel bars should be selected from HPB300 or HRB400 grades.

Construction Process Key Points:
Construction should first involve clearing weeds, tree roots, gravel, and loose soil layers from the slope surface to ensure a flat and stable slope. The process includes slope trimming and compaction, surveying and staking out, foundation excavation and treatment, cushion laying, precast panel installation, jointing, curing, and quality acceptance. During installation, attention should be paid to the position of drainage holes, with配套 (matching) installation of φ100mm permeable pipes wrapped in geotextile and the laying of a 5-10mm graded crushed stone filter layer.

Price Reference:
The prices of precast panels vary depending on the brand, specifications, and region. For example, a 151520 solid slope protection panel in Weifang, Shandong costs about 8.00 yuan per piece, a red Dutch brick permeable slope protection panel costs about 0.50 yuan per piece, and an environmentally friendly lightweight slope protection panel in Changsha, Hunan costs about 45.00 yuan per square meter.
